Notes on prices
Prices for the property are per week in euros. They do not include final cleaning cost of 100 Euros, depending on the villa and cooking areas being left in reasonable condition. Linen is changed weekly and laundry costs depend on linen requirements but could be as little as 50 euros for 4 people. Gas and water consumption are included in the price, as is electricity up to a reasonable 100Kw. Exceeding this, electricity will be charged at 60 cents per Kw.
Changeover day
Changeovers are flexible. The property as a general rule must be vacated no later than 10am on departure day and check-in is from 3pm onwards. This is negotiable depending on other bookings.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is on the ground floor, on one level with enclosed front and rear garden so perfectly suitable for children. A cot or extra single bed is available upon request.
More beds available in adjoining semi-basement apartment.
Outside
On the front patio, overlooking a small but well-kept garden, there is seating available. The rear patio, also with small garden, houses the barbecue and work tops, table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are just a 5-minute drive away (2km). Alternative transport is available in the village. Most of the beaches have beautiful white sand and crystal-clear water - or explore a rocky cove! Most beaches have beach bars and umbrella/sunbed hire services.
Golf
Local golf is just a 5-minute drive. (There is a bus service available).

Take advantage of our Italian language courses which are available on request with a qualified teacher who will come to your holiday home, when its convenient for you, at a very reasonable cost.
Travel
Villasimius is a pleasant 50-minute drive from the Cagliari-Elmas airport or the sea port. Car hire is not essential but is recommended as public transport is limited to and from Cagliari. A private shuttle service is available in the village to most beaches and activities. We can arrange pick-up at the airport for you if necessary.
Distances
Cagliari is about 45kms away. Here you will find cinemas, an ice-rink, a football stadium (the local team is presently in the top A division), banks, supermarkets and designer shops. There is also a wonderful old section in Cagliari, which can be visited on a guided 'train' tour.
Further details
Villasimius is an excellent tourist town which, although small, boasts 2 banks with cash-points, numerous shops and supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, a church, a pharmacy, a new golf course, travel agents' - and all at just a short 2-minute walk away. And it takes just 2-minutes in the morning to stroll to the corner shop to pick up fresh bread, fragrant croissants, fresh milk and fruit for breakfast.
Booking notes
30% of total rental fee, sent by bank transfer, is required to secure the booking. The balance of payment must be effected on arrival when the apartment keys are handed over, along with the final cleaning/laundry costs, plus a 250 euros security deposit against loss or damages (this will be refunded on departure).The security deposit may be paid in pounds if preferred.

About the owner
I was born a long time ago in London but came to Sardinia in 1974 for professional reasons. I fell in love with the island, the people, the climate, and later on with my husband, Corrado. I have 2 children. The eldest, Stefano, lives and works in Paris. The youngest, Cristina, is still at home with us. I've completely changed my life style since I came here from the UK and I've even learned how to cook decently and that's why I'm overweight! I work as a translator and interpreter and am often in schools teaching English. In the summer, I run my holiday venture for my own properties as well as those of relatives and/or friends who either live abroad or don't speak any English!
