Apt Michelangelo (2 bedrooms, Sleeps up to 6)

Apartment Michelangelo (2 bedrooms, up to 6 persons). This is a large luxurious apartment with an upstairs and a downstairs. It has stone walls, beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, brick niches, and windows with stone lintels. The ground floor consists of: - a large living room with the original 19th century fireplace; - a big well-equipped kitchen (with a table seating eight people) with an authentic terracotta floor; - a bathroom with Italian tiles, shower, basin, and wc. The upper floor consists of: - 2 double bedrooms which sleep up to 6 people. Each has a double bed and a single bed. Each bedroom also has a panoramic view over the garden the swimming pool, and the vineyards; - a tiled bathroom with a bathtub, twin basins, bidet, and wc. The covered terrace outside the living room and kitchen has a barbecue and dining table and chairs for eating out-of-doors. The furniture is antique and elegant and the bedrooms are well-lighted.

Apt Giotto (3 bedrooms, Sleeps up to 7)

Apartment Giotto (3 bedrooms, up to 7 persons). This big apartment is on two levels and it sleeps up to 7 people. Like the other two apartments, it has a private entrance from its own garden and a large private terracotta patio. Inside, the stone walls, beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, brick arches, niches, and the windows with stone lintels testify to the eighteenth-century origins of the farmhouse. The presence of antique furniture, pictures and ornaments add extra warmth and color and gives an elegant refinement to the interiors. On the ground floor, there is a living room with an old working Tuscan fireplace. An archway leads into a big dining room which also has a door out onto the patio and the garden. On this floor there is also a kitchen which has a fridge/freezer, four gas rings on the cook top, and an electric oven. The kitchen is open to the dining room. The living room and kitchen overlook a private patio with a terracotta floor and a private garden.

Apt Brunelleschi (3 bedrooms, Sleeps up to 8)

Apartment Brunelleschi (3 bedrooms, up to 8 persons). This is a very large charming apartment, with a decorative staircase. Two entrances lead from a large covered patio; one into the big sitting-living room with its working old fireplace, comfortable chairs, and sofa; the other into the dining room (including a table that seats eight) and the kitchen which has a cooktop, electric oven, and fridge-freezer. The ground floor is made up of large spacious interconnecting rooms. Each of these rooms has large arched windows opening onto either the patio or the garden. The rooms have traditional Tuscan features: chestnut beams and terracotta floors. The living room is very light because of the big windows. The first floor consists of, 3 charming and large bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed. They all have original stone walls; one of them has two glass walls which face the swimming pool and there is also a private delightful terrace.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is very suitable for a relaxing holiday with the kids or a romantic getaway, a honeymoon or for a historic and cultural expedition.
This spacious farmhouse is perfect for family groups too, for wedding cerimonies, anniversaries and events.
The apartments are available for short and long term rental.
All the apartments are fully equipped with: Independent heating, stove, oven, fridge, washing machine, television, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes and pots, ironing board, barbeque.

Outside
The grounds surrounding the villa are made up of 2.5 acres of land completely fenced, terraced, and planted with a variety of mature trees, hedges, and flowers.
There is also a lovely rose garden on the property, with almost 100 different kind of roses.
In the main garden there is a swimming pool with a spacious deck surrounded by flower beds.
Villa Cafaggiolo has been restored by the architect-owner, using traditional materials (there are terracotta floors, stone walls and beamed ceilings throughout), and it has been furnished using top quality fixtures and fittings that provide both comfort and style. So the Villa has a charming country feel to it, while providing at the same time many modern features.
We (the Owners), live on the same estate but in a separate Villa. We will be there to meet you when you arrive and, after that, we can give you as much or as little assistance as you would like as you enjoy your holiday. We’ll provide a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphe

between 30-70 km, are located Siena, Greve in Chianti, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Volterra, Vinci, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo and the beaches at Viareggio.
All of them are about 1 hour driving (or less), from Villa Cafaggiolo.

Further details
Pontassieve (1,5 miles from the Villa), is an attractive medieval town where you will find a good choice of shops, banks, several very good restaurants and a shopping centre. There is a regular train service for the center of Florence, which takes less than 1/2 hour and is excellent for those who do not wish to take the car to go into the city.
