From the kitchen area you walk out onto the large terrace, spacious enough to relax in the sun or alfresco dining. The owners, a lovely Sicilian family who are most welcoming, live on the floor below the apartment and there's a little cottage in the garden that is rented out.

Coast/Beach
The beach is only a 15 minute walk from the apartment. From the village there's steps that take you to the cobbled and sandy beach. During the summer months there's a restaurant and bar where one can have a lovely lunch or dinner. Lounge chairs and umbrellas hire available.
Golf
The Madonie Golf Club is a 30 minute drive, located in the seaside town of Campofelice. The golf course is well manicured consist of 18 holes, it has a great restaurant and club house.

Travel
The nearest airport is Punta Raisi - Palermo, a distance of 113km mainly on the A20 motorway exiting at Castelbuono/Pollina. The port is in Palermo a distance of 90km.
Distances
A short distance to Cefalů, the wonderful Norman-Arab town with it's wonderful Norman Cathedral, museum and shopping. Boats leave from the Port of Cefalů for the Aeolian Islands, the service commences in the spring till end of October. Train trip of 55 mins to Palermo to visit the markets or the famous historical site of Monreale.
