For practical things in a few minutes by car clients can easily reach the villages of S. Polo in Chianti and Figline Valdarno, where shopping centers, banks, post offices and newspaper kiosks are available. From there you can easily reach all the main Tuscan cities, worldwide known for their cultural and artistic treasures, such as Florence (18km), Arezzo (40km), Siena (50km), San Gimignano (63km) and Volterra (86km).

Special interest holidays
Possibility of cooking's course at our restaurant, where you must try hand-made Porcini mushrooms filled ravioli and the Pappardelle with wild boar ragout. What make our restaurant so well known are also our mixed grilled and roast-meats, together with the Florentine T-Bone steak cooked in the wood-burning oven, the wild boar and game dishes. Not to forget our famous 'fritto' (mixed fried food) made, as our grandmothers used to do, in the old black frying-pan. All our dishes are prepared with extra virgin olive oil, locally produced, as most of the vegetable we use. Last but not least our great Pizza cooked on the natural stone of our antique oven. Restaurant Becattini is an unique culinary experience, which we are sure, will make your stay in Tuscany even more memorable.
Travel
From A1 Motorway: Take Exit INCISA, once passed the toll follow direction Figline Valdarno for about 4 km. Before entering the village of Figline turn right direction Poggio alla Croce-S. Polo in Chianti and after about 7km you reach Poggio alla Croce. We are in front of the Church. From Florence (no Motorway) At the A1 Motorway FIRENZE SUD Exit follow directions to Grassina. Once there, after the square, turn leurn left to S. Polo in Chianti, pass this village and go ahead for 12km.

"Location très bien située à la frontière du Valdarno et du Chianti à proximité de Florence (20 à 30mn en voiture) sur les hauteurs (500m d'altitude) ce qui garantit air et fraîcheur appréciables en été. Le village est plutôt un hameau authentique (sauf l'église moderne), très animé le week-end en saison (concerts sur la place). Commerces à proximité (3km) à San Polo in Chianti ou (7km) Figline Valdarno. L'appartement est vaste, propre et bien équipé, refait à neuf. La décoration est agréable. La terrasse offre une vue intéressante sur les montagnes avoisinantes et la vallée(Chianti). Le panorama est typique de cette partie de la Toscane.
