The apartment has a spacious terrace overlooking both the pool and lake, and there is a small private garden to the rear complete with olive trees. There is a small village just 100 metres from the apartment, with several restaurants.

Outside
Large self-heating swimming pool shared by six privately owned apartments. There is a patio dining table and chairs for the terrace, and there is a private garden at the rear of the apartment with plants and olive trees.
Coast/Beach
There is a long, wide beach at Maderno, which is about a 5 minute drive away, although the lake itself is only 800 metres from the apartment.
Golf
Bogliaco Golf course a 10 minute drive away (http://www.golfbogliaco.com). Also within a short driving distance are the world famous golf courses Arzaga Golf (with courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player) and Garda Golf.
Skiing
The closest ski resort is Gaver, which is around 40 minutes by car. For really superb skiing, the famous Madonna di Campiglio ski resort, which has championship courses and dozens, if no hundreds, of pistes, 1.5 hours away - day trips are very feasible.
Travel
You can get to the apartment by flying to:

Verona (1.15 hours)
Milan Bergamo (1.5 hours)
Milan Linate (1.5 - 2 hours)
Ryanair, BMIBaby and FlyBMI all provide cheap flights to these airports.
Distances
The nearest village is Cecina, a small village with a couple of restaurants. There is a lovely trattoria just 100 metres from the apartment. Gardaland and the waterparks are about a 40 minute drive away. The major lakefront town of Toscolano Maderno is a 5-10 minute drive.

'The CasaGarda apartment was absolutely perfect. The views from the balcony were spectacular and perfect for having a nice cup of hot chocolate on in the cold mornings (We visited in November). The apartment was spacious and in pristine condition, not a spec of dust anywhere! There were all the essentials needed for a family so it didn't matter if someone had forgotten something! We are already planning on returning to this apartment in the summer! It is wonderfully located, as the town Toscolano Maderno wasn't far away at all, and very friendly.
