The house is set out on four floors and was built in the typical Ligurian style. Having been previously owned by a Norwegian painter the house retains a great deal of character. It is well situated for the village shops, bar and restaurants yet is in a quiet location. There is a village bus with regular daily trips to the larger towns. Civezza is only 4km from the sea and is surrounded by beautifull countryside where you can follow many of the mountain walks and discover a little Italian history en route. There are leaflets supplied at the house for these and other activities. For those who like plenty of action there is the famous Casino at San Remo only 30 minutes away or the sophistication of Monaco 45 minutes or Nice 1 hour. The village itself has plenty to offer and is steeped in history. Its people are very friendly and are happy to share their stories. The beaches along the coastline vary from being perfectly sandy to really quite rugged details of some are found at the house.

Changeover day
Weekly rental is from Saturday to Saturday check in is between 16:00 and 20:00 hours and check out by 11.00am (although this could be adjusted subject to prior agreement).

| Other: | The fourth floor has an open terrace with washing machine and a magnificent panoramic views over the countryside. This is where most of my guests spend most of their time when they are 'at home'. |

Closest beach is San Lorenzo 4km. There are many other beaches along the coastline at Imperia 24 kilometres of pleasure, from San Lorenzo to San Remo
A charming walking and cycle track built on the line of a disused railway line which runs for, almost the entire length of the coast, from San Lorenzo al Mare to San Remo. The 24 kilometres breathtaking stretch provides access to five kilometres of unreachable beaches. The path it is perfect for families and cyclists.

Travel
How to get to Civezza.
-By Car:from Milan:Take the motorway A7 in the direction of Genova, and follow the signs towards Ventimiglia. Take the exit marked Imperia Ovest.
From Torino, take the A6 to Savona. Follow the signs towards Ventimiglia, and come off the motorway at Imperia Ovest.
From Nice. Take the A10 to Genova and come off the motorway at Imperia Ovest. After leaving the motorway turn left and follow the signs towards San Remo eventually on your right you find the turning for Civezza
Distances
There are many surrounding villages within easy driving distance and the nearest town is Porto Maurizio 6km where there is an enclosed market and many banks shops hairdressers etc. Imperia is just a few kms further along where you can eat lunch at one of the many port side restaurants and watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch.
Further details
Liguria is world famous for its olive oil, and for those who would be interested, we can arrange a guide around a working mill and explain the procedure of producing the oil from the tree to the bottle. You will be able to purchase the oil straight from the mill. There are also many boat trips available for example a whale watching trip of 5 hours out at sea to one of the areas where the dolphins and whales are know to gather.

The price includes: mains water, electricity, gas and a complete set of bedlinen which is replaced weekly. Towels are available on request. The price does not include: final cleaning (50 euros), gas for central heating (when needed) at 1.5 euros per cubic metre.
