The villa consists of 2 apartments. The owners live on the ground floor. The first floor apartment has four bedrooms, living room, 2 bathrooms and kitchen/diner. Double doors lead on to an outside balcony for breakfast or just gazing at the Sibillini mountains. There are 6 acres of private grounds including pool of which guests have exclusive use. Gualdo and Sarnano are nearby, both lovely hilltop towns with historic centres, great views, cafes and restaurants. Long sandy beaches are to be found only 40 minutes drive away at Porto St Giorgio on the Adriatic coast. There is a barbecue with outside dining facilites.

Accessibility
Unfortunately as the apartment is on the first and second floors of the property and only accessed by stairs this is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Outside
There are 6 acres of gardens giving complete privacy. A series of terraced lawns lead down to a swimming pool, 12m x 5m with a uniform depth of 1m 50cm. Steps lead down into the pool at one end. The pool terraces have a direct view of the Sibillini mountains. There is an outside barbecue and a garden area for al fresco dining.
Coast/Beach
40 minutes drive to Porto St Giorgio.
Golf
Nearest golf course at Sirolo on the Adriatic, about an hour away.
Skiing
We are 30 minutes from the nearest ski resort. This is a small resort busy at weekends but delightfully underoccupied during the week. In the summer these mountains are wonderful for walking. The Comune of Sarnano have invested heavily in new ski facilities including snow making machines and 2 new hotels and restaurants.
Travel
Ancona. Car hire is recommended. Pescara and Perugia are good alternatives but about a 2 hour drive away. BA fly Gatwick to Bologna and there is an excellent and cheap train service from Bologna to Civitanova Marche where you can hire a car.
Distances
Gualdo Centre is a five minute walk. There is a bank with ATM and most local shops. There is a cafe/bar and one local restaurant. Sarnano 8km away, Ascoli Piceno an hour away. Many places of interest in the Sibillini National Park. We are on the edge of the park.
