The villa can be found just outside the medieval village of Valentano in the Alto Lazio region. This borders both Umbria and Tuscany. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and sofa/TV area and conservatory. There is also an outside dining area with BBQ and the private swimming pool. The region is rich in old Etruscan and Roman places of interest. Capodimonte on the Lake of Bolsena is a 10 mins drive. Here you can sunbathe on the volcanic shore or on the grassed lawn. The Mediterranean coast is only a 30 min drive. Many picturesque villages surround the area including Ovieto, Pitigliano, Capalbio, Sorano & Tuscania. Aqua Felix is a large water park giving hours of fun. Take a trip to Rome, only 1 hour 35 mins by train. Horse riding is available in the village. For golf enthusiasts there is a newly built course in Viterbo, 30 mins away. Take a wine tasting trip into Tuscany or just relax in the famous thermal springs at Saturnia or Viterbo.

Changeover day is Saturday however this can be flexible subject to availability at time of booking.
Arrival time after 1pm and departure before 10am.

All linens and towels are provided. Cleaning is done on a weekly basis usually Saturday. |

Accessibility
The rooms are all situated on the 1 level however there are a few single steps within the villa.
Outside
The gardens are beautifully maintained and mature.
There is a hammock and a swing.
Outside dining and BBQ set on the patio next to the swimming pool. The garden furniture is all wooden and of a good standard. There are outside lights throughout the garden and also in the swimming pool.
Coast/Beach
The Mediterranean coast with golden sandy beaches is just a short drive (30 mins) and offers all beachside facilites both private or public.
Golf
There is a new course in Viterbo which is only 30 mins drive. Another course can be found in Tarquinia which is approx 45 mins drive.
Skiing
In the winter skiing can be done at Monte Amiata. This is an hour and 30 mins drive and offers rental facilities.
Special interest holidays
Tour the island on a private sail boat with experienced sailor who has an extensive knowledge of the lake and its 2 islands.

Travel
Leonardo Da Vinci, Fiumicino airport is 1 hour 15 mins drive.
Campino airport is 1 hour 45 mins drive.
Distances
The village of Valentano is only a couple of mins drive. Here you can find a range of shops from clothing, ornaments, jewellery plus local fruit and veg. There is a supermarket and 2 banks. Also many pastry and cake shops so lots of opportunities to stop and take a coffee.
Further details
There are many other supermarkets and large stores in the surrounding villages. Huge variety of restaurants to chose from offering great local produce.
Booking notes
30% deposit secures a booking and this can be paid into a UK bank a/c. The balance is to be paid 1 month before arrival. Paypal and creditcards also welcome.
