A charming small hotel located in Apricale (Liguria), chosen one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The hotel offers very comfortable accommodation in 5 beautifully decorated rooms. They all have a stunning uninterrupted view over the valley, the roman bridge and aquaduct. Every room has a different theme and is decorated accordingly. We have Camera del Cuore, Camera dei Fiori, Camera delle Scarpe, Camera della Poesia and 'The Sweet' with its hydromassage bath. The rooms have a mini-bar, Sat. TV, a safe, air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. A continental breakfast is incl. and served with a smile in the charming breakfast room, which used to be the stable. From here French windows lead onto the big terras and the garden beyond, all for you to lounge about in. We are looking forward to welcome you at Apricus Locanda. To make life a little easier Italian, English, German and Dutch spoken, a little French understood. Located 60 km from Nice and 120 km from Genua.

Notes on accommodation
All the rooms have an en-suite bath-/shower room, with bidet, toilet and sink. Wifi internet connection is available.
Outside
Apricale comes from the Latin 'Apricus' meaning exposed to the sun. And we have a lot of sun indeed. So you can enjoy all of it in our garden with its vegetables, fruit and flowers. From the garden a path leads down to the river with its roman bridge and aquaduct.
Coast/Beach
Because of its privileged location one can enjoy all the good things the Cote d'Azur as well as the Italian Riviera has to offer. The nearest beach is a 15 minutes drive away.
Skiing
In wintertime one can go skiing in Limone. It only takes you an hour and a bit to get there. There are great runs for beginners as well as advanced skiers.

Nice airport is 60 km. and Genua airport is 120km. from Apricale.

Further details
Apricale has some lovely restaurants, there are two little grocery shops and some art galleries. You can buy also your olive oil and red wine (rossese) in town. There is a post office in the beautiful square.

About the owner
During a visit to my sister and her husband who lives in Apricale for almost 20 years I had a romantic encounter in the main square in Apricale. That was the beginning of our adventure in Apricale. Arturo lives here for almost 17 years and I for 8 years. Me (Jeanette) a Dutch manager and Arturo an Albanian builder have put together all our skills and opened a Bed & Breakfast, Apricus locanda (IT259). Arturo has built it and I am running it. The success of Apricus made that we wanted to create something more private and luxurious. And there are our luxury townhouses (IT 3376 and IT 4283). Hope you will enjoy them. And there is more to come.
