Located on a hillside, the property dominates over a cultivated valley, surrounded by the Birignone natural park and with breathtaking views of the small town of Casole D’Elsa in the distance. When reaching the property, an electronic gate opens onto the private car park, the house is reached by mean of a stone pathway surrounded by manicured lawns also leading to the private pool entirely fenced in to provide children's safety. The main entrance to the house is from the front lawn directly into a specious, luminous living room with fireplace. In the right hand corner of the living room there is a beautiful flight of tiled steps that leads to the first floor sleeping section of the house. Next to the stairs on the ground floor an open arch leads to the large downstairs bathroom finished in Travertino marble. Across the living room, a double door opens on to the fully fitted kitchen equipped with breakfast bar, which in turns leads to the utility room and, opposite, to our dining room.

Changeover day is flexible as are check in and out times.

The interior of the property is cleaned on arrival, a mid week cleaning service can be offered at €50 per visit. Linen is changed on arrival and a laundry service can be provided at €50 euro per wash. The pool is cleaned every 2 days. |

Notes on accommodation

Wireless Internet access requires key top up.
Our house is equipped with an internal water tank in order to ensure water is available at times of water shortage.
The garden has a water tab and a hose.
Outside
The property surrounding the house is fenced in to provide maximum privacy and access is through two electronic gates one at the front and one at the rear of the property.
At ground floor there are no fewer than 5 doors opening into different rooms that provide continuity between the inside and outside of the house.
In the garden adjacent to the house there is a large paved area covered by a 4x4 metre gazebo, an extendible table and chairs which accommodates 8/16 people and a build in BBQ, excellent for alfresco dining. Immediately outside the kitchen door, at the rear of the house, there is another table and chairs as well as a children play area. At the front of the property, the stone pathway leads to the 6x10mt private pool set in a beautiful position overlooking the countryside. The pool has internal stairs and is surrounded by a paved area ideal for sunbathing, at night it is fitted with internal and external lighting, this is to allow a day and night use.

Travel
Pisa and Firenze airports are approx 1 hour away and the use of a car is essential to access the property.
Distances
The historical towns of Volterra and San Gimignano are within 20/30 mins driving time, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and Firenze 1 hour approx.
Further details
At the back of the house is a country road used specifically by trekkers and those on mountain bikes while the nearby Natural Reserve of Birignone offers the possibility for stunning nature walks as well as specific areas for barbecues.

We have rented many houses in Italy before but the welcoming we received from Cecilia was outstandingly warm and we felt at home immediately. The house is fantastic, extremely well interior decoration and suppliance. Marvelous bathrooms. The garden and pool areas are with the most beautiful views over the Tuscan hills. The house is a bit isolated, but on the other hand it gives you absolute peace and privacy. The small village of Casole d´Elsa is nearby, 15mins by car, and offers lovely small authentic restaurants. We will certainly recommend it to family and friends.'
