The Casa Gialla di Navarri (Yellow House of Navarri) is a terrace on the Niccone Valley, facing south: bathed by the sun during the whole day, with a magnificent view from the East towards Umbertide and the hills of Montone (a medieval borough), all the way to the West for a good part of the Niccone Valley, in the direction of Lake Trasimeno. La Casa Gialla is perfect for a relaxing vacation with your friends or your family, bathing in the swimming pool. Or you can keep fit in the small gym or play tennis in the court besides the house (shared with the owner), surrounded by three hectares of hazelnuts, olives and centuries old oak trees, facing the valley. The house is only 500m from the main road, reachable by a paved road, and is only 7 minutes away from Umbertide, where you can find shops, restaurants and weekly market. In the countryside surrounding the house there are several typical and organic restaurants, to enjoy fine Italian food and wine.

Outside
The ground floor kitchen and living room open directly on a shaded porch where you can dine or relax on the couch; just a few steps away you can reach the gorgeous swimming pool with diving board, joined the beautiful view of the Niccone valley. Next to the porch you can use the BBQ equipped for cooking grilled meats, sea foods or vegetables. The wonderful garden is full of coloured flowers and aromatic herbs that you can use in season. Our guest can to pick the fresh fruit and vegetables from the owner's garden, accessible from the tennis court. You can also ride and visit Niccone Valley with three mountain bikes available. The property is fanced with private electric gate, and you can use a private garage.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Lake Trasimeno (20 minutes by car), or in one hour/two hours drive you can reach the beautiful coasts of Tyrrhenian Sea (in Toscany) or Adriatic Sea (in Marches).
Golf
The wonderful Antognolla golf course is just 20 minutes by car. The Perugia Golf Club is about half an hour's driving.
Special interest holidays
Just across the valley from La Casa Gialla is a popular organic restaurant where you can go for a very tasteful dinner or you can attend cooking lesson, an unforgettable experience.
A very popular folkloristic festival takes place in Umbertide during September ("Fratta dell'800") all the citizens wears traditional costumes, typical food and wine are offered for few money in the city centre: an incredible experience to join the sounds, the colours and the tastes of Umbria.
Travel
40 minutes drive by car is Perugia airport with direct flights to London Stansted (every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and Milan (daily); also -during the summer- Sardinia and Sicily. You can also reach Roma Ciampino and Roma Fiumicino airports in 2 hours. Other nearby airports are Ancona, Forlì, Firenze (Florence) Pisa.

The nearest food store, caffè and post office are within 3km, at Niccone. In 8 minutes you can reach the town of Umbertide.
