Large terrace protected with awnings surrounding the apartments, communal garden area outside with flowerbeds, fountain and parking places. A few minutes walk from the Medieval centre of Lanciano, ancient town of art, music, traditions and fairs. 10 minutes drive from the sea (Costa de Trabocchi), 30 minutes drive from the mountains (Parco della Maiella) and The Miglianico Golf and Country Club, 18 holes course (par 72), featuring Mediterranean games. Lots of places of interest nearby like the hilltop village of Guardiagrele, Lago di Bomba (where you can hire canoes and pedalos) and other touristic villages and towns such as San Giovanni in Venere, Vasto. The owners' house is located five minutes walk from the apartments so advice and help are available if needed. Airport transfer can be provided.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the apartment and garage per week in euros for up to 4 people. The additional cost per person per week for more than 4 people is 40 euros. Special reductions for long term lets. Discount for couples. 25% required on booking with balance payable on arrival. (Please note balance remains payable if booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to arrival). 200 euros refundable breakages/ damages deposit required on arrival.
Christmas/New Year and Easter 650 Euro per week.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible with departure by 10.00am and arrival after 3.00pm.

Notes on accommodation
The apartments are non-smoking and no pets. Perfect for children because they can play in the large communal area (three thousand square metres) with flowerbeds and fountain. The apartments are not hot in the summer because they are air-conditioned and the terrace is protected with awnings. Three bicycles, four beach chairs and one beach umbrella are provided for each apartment.
Accessibility
The apartments are both located on on the 2nd floor and there is a lift from the ground floor area.
Outside
A large terrace, protected with awnings, surrounds each of the apartments with ample spaces for relaxing and having leisurely meals and evening drinks. In both Apartment 1 (Appartamento Sole ) and Apartment 2 (Appartamento Querce ) there are two deckchairs, eight garden chairs and a table seating for 8 ,and for each apartment are provided three bicycles,four beach chairs and one beach umbrella .You can also use the large communal garden area outside (three thousand squared metres) with flowerbeds and fountain where children can play. Ample parking all around the building. A garage for each apartment is also available.
Coast/Beach
The seaside, with unspoilt coves and bays (Fossacesia-San Giovanni in Venere- Costa dei Trabocchi) is only a 10 minute drive away. Pescara & Vasto resorts are a 50 minute drive.
Golf
The Miglianico Golf and Country Club, designed by Ronald Kirby, an American architect is only 30 minutes drive away.This club, featuring Mediterranean Games in 2009, includes a club-house, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and a 18 holes course (par 72). Tel 0871 950566 Fax 0871 950363.
Skiing
Winter sports resorts nearby are : Passo Lanciano, 30 minutes drive away. Roccaraso, 1 hour drive away. Capracotta for cross country skiing is a 50 minute drive away.
Travel
Pescara airport is only 35 minutes drive away. It is serviced by Ryan Air, flyonair, Air One, belleair. Ancona airport is 2 1/2 hour drive away. Rome airports are a 2 1/2 hour drive away. Direct coaches are available from Fiumicino Airport in Rome (Terminal C) to Lanciano (see rosatoviaggi.it or prontobus.com.).

Lanciano is very conveniently located in the Frentan area near to many interesting touristic little villages such as Castelfrentano, Guardiagrele, Bocca di Valle, Fara San Martino, Palena, Pizzoferrato, Roccascalegna, Villa Santa Maria, Atessa, Casoli, Lago di Bomba and many more!
Further details
The apartments are located in a quiet area only a few minutes walk from CCI, Cambridge Institute and Athena and from the historic centre of Lanciano with many shops, bars, typical restaurants. The nearest supermarket and a gym with indoor pool are only a 5 minute walk.
