The Farmhouse is located in the Chianti Countryside only 10 miles from Florence; is settled top on a hill, with a stunning view over the valleys around cultivated with vineyards and olive groves and in the long distance the view of the mountains of Pratomagno. The apartment has been recently renovated in a true Tuscan style, with Terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, and stone walls. It has been tastefully furnished with antique furniture and decorated with typical Tuscany Paintings and ceramics. It has a genuine Tuscan homelike feeling.

Notes on accommodation
Tastefully furnished in the traditional style, with antique furniture and chandeliers and decorated with paintings and ceramics. Terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, and stone walls are everywhere.
Kitchen towels and tablecloth, bed linen and towels included.
Suitable for children (playground and special jeep excursions).
Coin operated washing machine.
From June - September following services are available: breakfast, grill dinner or pizza dinner, cooking classes, massages with natural oils, special discounts in nearby restaurants.
Outside
The place is really peaceful all around; the access to the Estate is by private road and you'll never hear noise or traffic during your stay. Just the sounds of Nature. Our guests love falling asleep at night to the sounds of nature.
There are 3 private large Swimming Pools on the estate (1 is only for the Owner of the Farmhouse), a Tennis Court, an interesting Museum of Rural Civilisation, old Cellars, a Private Parking lot for your cars and many other Facilities.
Special interest holidays
Cookery course will teach you the theory and the practical aspects of Tuscan way of cooking in a pleasant atmosphere. Special attention will be given to the choice of the ingredients, all local and exceptionally fresh, and to the wines. The cookery lessons are followed by lunch when you will enjoy the dishes you have just prepared.

The Farmhouse is strategically located close to major highways. The following are some approximate driving times from Fattoria Pagnanao: 20 minutes from Florence, 1 hour from San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Lucca, Arezzo, 1.5 hours from Pisa, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, 2.5 hours from Roma, Venezia, Cinque Terre.
Besides, the outlets of Gucci, Ferragamo, Armani, Valentino, Zegna and many other, are just 10 minutes driving from Villa Pagnana.

The medium-sized village of Rignano sull'Arno is less than 2 miles away from the Farmhouse. There you’ll find any of the shops, restaurants, supermarkets, or banks you may need.
There is a Railroad Station in Rignano sull'Arno with trains running frequently to Florence. The fares are inexpensive and the trains are comfortable and fast. It takes only 20 minutes to get to the center of Florence.

About the owner
I was born in Florence, lived and studied there and graduated in architecture.
I used to work in an architectural studio, where I got experience restoring old villas-farmhouses and designing fashion shops.
Since years I directly manage the holiday apartments in the beautiful Villa Cafaggiolo and Villa Pagnana Farmhouses.
Each apartment is strictly inspected by me to ensure quality stay for my guests.
I love to welcome overseas visitors to Tuscany, because it means having a window on the world and having contact with different cultures and traditions.
It gives me pleasure in being able to introduce people to Florence and the surroundings: Tuscany, my beloved, wonderful land, with its Art, Beauties and flavours.
