Coast/Beach
Local beach is just 800 ms/ 15 min walk away and is a beautiful combination of white sand and clear blue water. There are local bars and restaurants on the beach front who provide sun beds, umbrellas and shower/toilet facilities as well as good parking facilities. The coast also has many 'hidden' beaches used by the locals which are wilder but extremely beautiful - these are main located off the main roads down dirt tracks - usually signposted 'cala (something)' - worth the effort!!
Travel
The nearest airport is Olbia which is just 15 minutes drive or alternatively Alghero airport is approximately 1 1/4 hours away. Car hire is essential. Flights available from most UK regional airports, Bristol being the latest addition. Should you wish to combine your holiday with a mainland Italy visit, there are ferries arriving in Olbia from the major Italian coastal cities (Rome, Genoa, Leghorn) daily.
Distances
The picturesque town of Olbia is just 10 minutes drive away and offers a huge selection of high street & designer shops, bars & restaurants as well as banks & post office facilities.
The famous town of Porto Cervo, frequented by the rich and famous who moor their yachts in the famous port and shop in the local designer outlets, is just 25 minutes drive away - perfect for people watching. The drive there also offers stunning views of the surrounding area - sea & mountains.

Sardinia is famous for its 'agro turismo's', These are basically farms run by locals who then open their kitchens to paying customers and serve their own home grown produce, prepared and cooked on the premises - nothing is bought in - the wine is produced by them, the bread, meat, fruit & vegetables - everything on your table will be organic. These are easy to find, all roads have little hand written signs which direct you to them. Cruises round the island to the Maddalena Archipelago & Corsica are also a must. Visit the famous Nuraghi and pass through picturesque villages all constructed with local stone. Sassari is also another stop not to be missed, the Piazza d'Italia by night is amazing! Sardinia is also famous for its many and amazing rock formations.
Booking notes
The apartment is generally booked for full weeks (Sat-Sat). Shorter breaks may be available. Bookings of 3 weeks or more 10% discount in high-season (Apr-Sept) 15% discount in low-season (Oct-Mar). Non-refundable deposit of 50% payable at time of booking. Balance due 1 month before departure. Breakage deposit of £200 required, refunded once apartment checked.
