The Palazzo was completely but sympathetically renovated to the highest standards by local artisans, retaining its magnificent chestnut beams and vaulted ceilings. It has a fully equipped kitchen with Godin cooker and two dishwashers. Within walking distance is an excellent pizzeria and the hilltop village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina with restaurant, bar and shop for general supplies. Just 10mins by car is the Caldese Golf Club and Equestrian Centre. Citta di Castello, 15 minutes by car, is a buzzing town with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, sports facilities and shopping. The perfect villa for a summer holiday in which to relax and unwind.

Notes on accommodation
The palazzo is spread over three floors. Bedrooms 6 and 7 are on the top floor and share a Jack and Jill style bathroom. The bedroom on the ground floor has two twin beds. The bathroom for this bedroom is located beside the utility room.

At an additional cost, we can offer the following services: Chef Service - chef will cook, set up, serve, wait on you and clear everything up after so all you have to do is eat, drink and be merry. A perfect way to celebrate that special anniversary. Babysitting Service - for when you want to go out for dinner without having to worry about the children. Housekeeping - this service provided 3 hrs a day, mornings only. Italian Cooking Courses - take a little bit of Italy back with you by learning the Italian way of cooking. Italian Language Courses - English speaking Italian teacher will come to the villa and teach. Art Courses - local artist will come to the villa and help you with your brush strokes. We can also offer yoga and wine tasting evenings.
Travel
Nearest airports are Perugia (45mins), Bologna (1hr 30mins), Florence, Ancona, Rimini, Pisa and Roma. Car hire is necessary.
Further details
Palazzo Prugnoli is a beautiful villa with excellent facilities situated very close to Citta di Castello. It's a short distance from Arezzo (with its monthly antiques market), Perugia (where the annual chocolate festival is held (40mins)), about 1.5 hrs from Florence and it's magnificent architecture and an hour from Siena. There are excellent local sports facilities such as golf, (Antognolla Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course just 30 minutes away - golf clubs, trolley and carts are available to hire), local horse riding, tennis (both indoor and outdoor clay) swimming, walking. Fabulous local restaurants and of course, great wine. Cooking, language, yoga, art etc courses can be arranged at the villa. Rimini beach is about 1.5 hours away. For the shopaholics, there are some great local shops as well as designer outlet villages 1 to 1.5 hours away. There are good road links to Montepulciano, Assisi, San Gimignano, Bologna and Rome, to name just a few of Italy's great cities.
Booking notes
30% deposit is taken at time of booking. Final balance is due 10 weeks before arrival date. A security deposit of £1,000 per week is taken when final balance is due. This is returned within 30 days of departure subject to confirmation that no damage has occurred. Use of gas, electricity and telephone is charged as extra. A 2% fee is applicable on credit card payments. On American Express cards a 3% fee will apply.
