Centrally located and within easy walking distance of the Vatican, this spacious 105 square metre apartment features: a large living / dining area, spacious entry hall, 2 large bedrooms with abundant cupboard space and 1 single bedroom with wardrobe, 1 bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Externally there are 2 balconies. The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning and a washing machine but no dishwasher. A telephone for incoming and free local calls together with ADSL & WiFi internet connection keeps you in touch with the world. The apartment is on the first (in USA, the second) floor of a modern building on a quiet cul-de-sac in the lovely residential quarter of Prati-Balduina. It is only a 10-minute walk from the Vatican Museums, Saint Peter's, Hilton Hotel and Loyola University.
All manner of public transport is available close by: Bus Stop (with frequent service) less than 50 metres; Metro (Cipro Station) 300 metres; Train (Appiano Station) 150 metres.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is a 40 minute taxi ride from Fiumicino airport. We are happy to make arrangements for airport pickup or delivery.
The apartment is well served by a variety of local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and delicatessens / convenience stores. There is a welcoming Italian café for breakfast or lunch only a few paces from the front door. For those who relish cooking, a large fresh produce market (Via Andrea Doria) is a leisurely 10 minute walk away.
Children welcome.

Reservation tickets for guided tours in museums and exhibitions is a free service that I offer to my guests.

Near the house there are: a small marketplace, several restaurants, a pizza house, a wine bar, some pubs and cafeterias with live music, ice-cream shops, many supermarkets and megastores and one multi-screen cinema.

We stayed in the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was close to everything we needed and had plenty of room for 5 adults. Advise to anyone wanting to do the Vatican tour is to reserve on-line before you go. You avoid all lines & enter in the rear for group tours. Adrianna recommended Nuraghe Sardo and was the perfect restaurant to end our stay and is two blocks from the apartment.

This is a wonderful apartment; very central and close to transportation etc. Close to shops. Large and comfortable, and good beds. Great kitchen. The biggest bonus is Adriana, who is warm and helpful.

About the owner
Happy House holds very fond memories for me. Fifty-five years ago my father, Salvatore, and my mother, Linda, decided to move our family from the hills of Tuscany to Roma so I could attend a better school. My father travelled to Roma and found Happy House, located on a quiet, safe and friendly street. In summer of 1954, we happily moved here. I spent my childhood and college days here, surrounded by love and friendship. My husband, Paolo, my mother Linda and I welcome you to my childhood home
