Experience the real Italy here in Cornalba. Tranquillita is a newly built 3 bedroomed apartment, furnished and equipped to the highest level. Situated just 40 minutes from Bergamo (airport), one hour from Lake Como and Lake Lecco and one hour from the popular ski resort of Fopollo. Travel in any direction from Cornalba and you'll stumble upon quaint towns with cobbled streets filled with restaurants, delicatessants and designer shops. This is non-commercial Italy, welcoming and beautiful. A visit to the "citta alta" in Bergamo and the famous spa town of San Pellegrino are a great day out. Walk to the local bar where those with an interest in rock climbing will find a willing tutor. Take the 2 minute drive to the historic town of Serina, enjoy a swim or a stroll in the park - though there's great temptation to just stay and relax on one of two large balconies, enjoy a glass of local wine and take in the stunning location of this undiscovered paradise.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful Lake Como, Lake Lecco and Lake Iseo are a one hour drive away.
Skiing
Alpine skiing is 15 minutes away at the Passe di Zambla. The popular resort of Fopollo is a one hour drive away. Perfect for families, beginners and intermediate skiers. There are wide blue runs, red runs and a black for the more experience. An adult 3 day lift pass covering three areas costs 58 euros, adult ski hire for 3 days cost 39 euros. Snow usually until mid April. At Selvino, a 15 minute drive there is a nursery slope.
Travel
Milan (Bergamo) airport is just a 40 minute drive away. This airport is served by budget airlines Ryanair and Jet 2. Car hire is essential and readily available from the airport. Hertz stay open for late flights - although book these through the budget airlines to get a better deal.
Distances
Walking distance to Cornalba, childrens play area, tennis court (payable locally), football pitch, bar and restaurant. 2km to Serina with use of hotel swimming pool, several restaurants, bars and shops. 10km to the famous spa town of San Pellegrino. Bergamo is 45 minute drive away with the historic Citta Alta (old town) and where designer shops are plentiful.

At Serina (2km drive) there is a bank, doctors surgery, various shops, use of swimming pool in hotel - (payable locally), several bars & restaurants.
Walking and mountain biking are popular local activities. The rock featured in our photographs is famous with climbers and situated in Cornalba. Take a 10 minute stroll and to partake / watch the climbing or simply just enjoy the views.
Take the train from Bergamo to Milan (7 euros).
Visit the beautiful Lakes - Como and Lecco, Lake Iseo and Garda are 90 minutes away.
