The organic farmhouse "Pratini" is situated between Volterra (15 km), San Gimignano (25 km), Montaione (18 km) and Castelfalfi (15 km). It has been offering farm holidays from 1993 on. Our 4 apartments (two apart. are each 40 sq.m big, for one couple and one child, one apartment is 85 sq.m. and for 5 persons, the last one is 110 sq.m.and for 7 people) are really spacious, well equipped, built with ecological materials like terracotta, wood ceiling beams, original stones. Easily to reach for a day trip are also the most important places in Tuscany such as Pisa (47 km), Lucca (52 km), Florence (69 km), Siena (70 km). Our organic farm products are: extra virgin olive oil, flour, pasta, wine, eggs and honey. We offer weekly dinners (or at demand) in our new little restaurant with our bread, pizza and tuscan local products. Cooking classes: we make you learn how to make bread or pizza with our flour.

Menta is the twin apartment like Papavero, it has a separate entry and is located in the same house side by side to Papavero. Menta is for 2 people and a child, of about 40 sq.m. that are composed as follows: Living area with kitchenette (gas hob +oven), sofa bed, satellite TV Double room Bathroom with shower Outside in the garden a private gazebo with table and chairs where to eat, have relax on the shadow. In an annexe, there is a washing machine for common use of all 4 apartments. |

Rosmarino (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 7)

Rosmarino (110 sqm) is the biggest apartment of the villa. It is situated above the pool. In front of the apartment, there is a pergola equipped with table and chairs. Notes on accommodation
At ground floor, all apartments are suitable for childrens and wheelchairs users.
A stone barbecue is also for all the guests of the villa.
Accessibility
Accessible all the apartments for people with mobility problems. The parking is also covered and well accessible.
To guarantee the privacy the gate of the villa is closed 24 h a day.
Outside
Very spacious gardens, rose and lavender bushes.
A new "cascading pool" (dated April 2008) is big 6,5 x 13 mt.
It is opened from the 15th May to 30th May. At demand we can open also before but only for booking of the whole villa.
Central heating in all apartments. Extra cost below consumption.
Stone barbecue in common use.
Washing machine in common use and free.
Coast/Beach
The Tuscan coast (Costa degli Etruschi) can be reached in about 1 hour by car (50 km).
The best known Castiglioncello or San Vincenzo, Donoratico have wonderful beaches and blue sea.
Golf
Recommended golf courses in Castelfalfi Resort, only 10 km away.
Special interest holidays
We are glad being able to propose the real and traditional cooking of the Tuscan countryside with our special product tastings and dinners. Our guests will discover our tasty pizzas, crispy bread and focaccia, baked in our wood-fired oven. Furthermore there is our cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and our red wine, made of the traditional Tuscan Sangiovese and Trebbiano grapes. The flour derives by our antique and bio-wheat, ground with our stone mill.
For those who are curious to learn more about traditional Tuscan cuisine and how the poor farmers once used to prepare their meals, we offer on request short cooking courses.

Travel
The nearest Airport is located in Pisa at 47 km. To reach Florence., Pisa and Livorno you can take the FI-PI-Li special way, only 20 km from our farmhouse.
Piombino port is only 75 km away, where you cn take the ferry boat to Elba Isle. Livorno Port is only 60 km away and you can take trip to Sardinia and Corsica Isles.

Typical shops where to find tuscan tasteful meat or salumi, cheese only 5 km away. You can by an original pecorino cheese directly to the farm only 4 km.
In our farmhouse there is also a bio shop where to buy organic olive oil, wine, eggs, pasta, tomato sauce, honey....
Booking notes
Arrival Only during mid and high season: Saturday from 4 p.m. If the arrival takes time after 8 pm, please advice in advance.
Minimum Stay One Week in the middle and high season. 4 days during Christmas, Easter and low season.
The price includes Electricity, water, gas, towels and bed linen with weekly change, hydromassage, grill, pizza oven, parking, children's games, use of the washing machine, final cleaning, tax.
