A well furnished and spacious property which lies in the historic town of Alghero and offers the advantage of being close to the airport and therefore not requiring the use of a hire car. There are regular bus services from the airport close to the apartment. It is a pleasant 15 minutes walk to go to the main beaches which are golden sand and close to the town if you want to shop or eat. There are plenty of daily excursions via boat or tours to the neighbouring caves at Capo Caccia and other local beauty spots. You should not underestimate the value of the historic town with wonderful boutiques including the famous red coral jewellery stores and clothes stores. All in typical Italian style. Beaches go on for miles and those nearer to the apartment have deck chair provision and other beach side amenities like outside showers. There is a good bus network to the major cities and towns on the island.

Living Rooms: Very large light airy living space with sofa, TV armchairs dining table and chairs.
Other: There is a small outside courtyard for eating outside with plastic table and chairs.

There is a small patio at the back. It does not have a view but is ideal for eating outside.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes walk to the main beach, 5 to 10 minutes drive to all other beaches, 10 minute walk to the harbour. Alghero is located in a bay made up of white sandy beaches which stretch out for miles both North and South.

Travel
10/15 minutes drive from Alghero airport. We can provide a taxi service to and from airport for 40 euros. If hiring a car you can park in the vicinity. Local bus service stop is 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Distances
Being in the heart of the town, everything is within walking distance, this includes historical sites, shops, cafes and restaurants - and the gorgeous harbour where daily boat trip to the local coastline are available for a very small fee.

Further details
Some of the best restaurants are in the vicinity. Shopping is within easy reach and you can vary your experience between local and tourist shopping. Don't miss out the aperitivo on the Caffe'Latino on the near by walls overlooking the harbour. And near the main tower there are some wonderful seafood restaurants that are not extravagantly priced. On average a good restaurant meal will set you back between 25-30 euros each and a pizzeria half that.

Booking notes
Minimum booking in peak period is one week, off peak welcome long weekend trips. We advise you book well in advance giving at least 2 weeks notice. 20% of the rental total has to be deposited in order to reserve the property. The difference has to be paid in cash on the day of arrival to the owner who will meet you on the day.
A cash deposit is required before entering to cover any damages to the property (150 euros). This will be returned on the day, subject to inspection of property.
