Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in euros. We also have a 2 bedroom apartment on request. 35 euros end cleaning. Extra bed 40 euros per week. Daily cleaning 50 - 75 euros per week. Bathrobe 9 euros week. Breakfast - medium 5 euros person/large 10 euros. Small pets 20 euros per week. 2 week long stay offer Eastern apartments for 2 person from 690 euros. Ischia is an Island near the Amalfi coast.
Changeover day
Minimum stay is one week, rather from Saturday to Saturday. Other stay time can be negotiate by reservation. Arrival: after 4:00pm - departure before 10:00am. Ischia Island.

Notes on accommodation
Bright and airy one and two-room apartments able to accommodate up to 5 people all individually furnished in typical Mediterranean style in the relaxing pastel colours which are so characteristic of this part of the world. Each apartment has a kitchen area, toilet and shower and a small garden or balcony where meals can be taken. Service includes heating water, gas, electricity, use of the swimming pools, deck-chairs, loungers and umbrellas, weekly change of towels and bed linen. Optional extras, for an additional fee, are a daily maid service, breakfast and satellite TV. Groceries can be delivered and for example a welcome pack can be provided on your arrival. We are happy to welcome groups with special requirements, upon arrangement. The room is set for 3 persons, sometimes we do accept a family with 2 kids.

Outside
This is a unique concept on Ischia, fusing a lodge house with an extravagant garden. This garden, along with the mature areas around Villa Ravino, is the result of 35 years of great passion and loving work of Signor Peppino, the owner of the Villa. The exotic trees include palms, olive, lemon and orange. Cascading over the walls, pergolas and terraces are grape vines as well as numerous flowering climbers - providing a multitude of rich colours. A speciality of Signor Peppino are succulent plants and cacti. These are abundant throughout the garden and obviously thrive in the Ischia climate. Throughout our scent and colour filled garden are paths and steps to let you wander through and take in the serenity. Our spa area contains a large solarium, an outdoor swimming pool, a covered garden with thermal spring from which "crystal clear water gushes every morning", hydro-massage, few fitness equipments and a multi-purpose room, sauna and a small beauty corner.
Coast/Beach
Residence Villa Ravino is situated in a quiet and panoramic site of Forio, on the south-west side of this charming Island.
The town centre of Forio and in the opposite direction the Citara beach with the famous Poseidon Gardens, are only about 10/15 minutes walk away. On Ischia Isalnd by the Amalfi coast, daytrip to Posiatano, Capri, Ravello, Vesuvio Voulcain, Pompei, Herculaneum.
Golf
There is no Golf Club on the Isalnd. But there's a service with the boat that takes you from Ischia Island to the first Golf Course on mainland.

Travel
There's a bus stop within 150 mt with connections for the whole island. Shops are easely reached, just 10 minutes walk (also home delivery). Parking place in front of the residence.
Regular ferryboats (Traghetto) and Hydrofoil (aliscafo) leave from the harbour of Naples (Molo Beverello) or from Pozzuoli to Ischia Porto or Casamicciola and Forio.
Capodichino is Naples' airport, from which we can organise transfers from and to Villa Ravino. Of course taxis and public buses are available.
Distances
Residence Villa Ravino is situated in a quiet and panoramic site within the area known as Forio, on the south-west side of this charming island. You can enjoy stunning views over the bay and our gardens from the roof terraces. Forio's charming historical town centre, with harbour, shops and restaurants is a 10-15 minute walk. The same distance in the opposite direction is the Citara beach ending with the famous Poseidon Spa Gardens. There is a well serviced bus stop within 150m of Villa Ravino.

Starting in the early 60ties to collect plants and seeds of plants in the whole world Peppino D’Ambra never thought, D’Ambra never thought, not even dreamt to be able to show one of a succulent collection most important in Europe. 50 years later it has become evident that all energy, labour and passion invested was invested well. 'To create a botanical garden it is a dream became true.' On the other side they say: a important man has always an important woman on the side. This is true for Peppe who married Edith in the 60's, a young Swiss lady which, thanks to her hospitality skills, takes care of the Ecolodge. B&B and self catering Apartments: Villa Ravino. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Seven years ago, the garden Giardini Ravino was born out of the courage to put a dream into reality, in details, that is to give a long-lasting home to cell culture. Giuseppe D'Ambra, a seaman travelled all over the world and a great aficionado of succulents and cacti, as of palms, all the time came back from his voyages with the bags full of seeds and scions of rare plants, one-of-a-kind in Italy and Europe. The mild climate of the island Ischia and possibly the south-western exposure of Villa Ravino’s ground, were the reason for the extensive growth of the plants and allowed their reproduction easily and unique in sort and amount. That's how the D'Ambra’s decided to show to the public this treasure that involved so much dedication, devotedness, sacrifice.
