Notes on accommodation
The house sleeps 8 people. It has 2 floors, 4 bedrooms. A large stone staircase lined with beautiful genaniums leads to the raised ground floor, garden and terraces.
No pets please.

The house is perched on a hill, which makes it pleasantly cool and breezy; summers are hot with temperatures up to 30 - 35 degrees centigrade in July and August. The evenings are cooler so sleeping is not difficult. In May, June and September the temperatures are around 25-30 degrees.

Outside
The house is surrounded by a large, beautifully tendered garden and lawn (approx 1500m2) overflowing with flowers, plants and trees and offering beautiful views. The garden is in full sunshine from about 11 am until sunset and offers lovely, cool, breezy spots to relax and enjoy a drink or an afternoon siesta. It has 2 lovely large terraces - one is ideal for sunbathing, the other, sheltered by a mesh of climbing roses, is perfect for eating al fresco. There is a further terrace on the first floor with views of the garden.
The garden and terraces are equipped with a long table and chairs, deck chairs and large barbecue; there is an outside shower at the back of the garden. A tennis court, table tennis and boules are available at no extra cost as part of the estate (first come first served, but please do not monopolise them!).  A paddling pool is available for families with small children.

Coast/Beach
The Cilento coast has beautiful beaches and bays. Most beaches are a 15-20 min drive away as is the port of San Marco. The coast can be explored both by car and by boat. A good way to explore the coast is by boat from San Marco. Try your luck at finding the submerged city (on a clear day it is possible to see the remains of walls and roads of this ancient Roman city).
