'Villa Daisy' is based around 2 trulli and includes many original features such as hand painted glass doors, wrought ironwork and 2 working fireplaces. It is fully equipped with TV, DVD, air conditioning, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc and contains everything that you would expect in a family home including a selection of books, DVD library, games, BBQ, pool toys etc. It has been stylishly refurbished 3 years ago with new bathrooms, kitchen and a conversion of outbuildings into a modern and bright en suite bedroom. The villa is owned by a Scottish/Italian family who have created a warm family home. The gardens are beautiful and offer shade to relax in a hammock or to pick fruit, olives or nuts from the trees. The large covered portico and patio area has a large wooden table, swing seat and there are sunloungers by the pool.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. We may accept midweek changeovers outside July and August.

| Living Rooms: | Lounge with leather suite, Flat TV, DVD, music system, Ipod Dock, library of games, books, DVDs etc. Working fireplace, air conditioning, French doors to terrace. |

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Fresh white bedlinen, bathroom towels, beach towels, dish clothes, are provided and changed each week when the property is cleaned. Initial and final cleaning are included. Extra cleaning can be arranged and paid locally. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa has air conditioning in the main rooms and is cool during the summer. We have a 7 year old girl so is designed to be suitable for children. The gardens are surrounded by fences so is safe to allow children to run free with pool supervision.

Accessibility
The house is one one level os is suitable for those with some disability but is not adapted for wheelchairs.
Outside
There is a private south facing pool 8m x 4m surrounded by a terrace with 6 sunloungers, tables and chairs. There is 1/2 acre of landscaped gardens with paths and seating areas and a hammock. There is a south facing covered portico with swing seat, wooden table seating 8 and chairs. There is also a covered arbour with round table and chairs. There is also a BBQ. The pool is cleaned each morning and tested once a week. There is ample parking for 2 cars and the gardens have full external lighting.
Coast/Beach
Beaches on the Adriatic and Ionian coasts are approximately 30 minutes by car.
Golf
There are 5 good golf courses within 40 minutes drive. Details can be given on request.
Travel
The villa is:-
60 minutes drive from Brindisi airport.
75 minutes drive from Bari airport.
20 minutes drive from Grottaglie airport.
10 minutes drive from Martina Franca rail station.
You will require a hire car.
Distances
3km - Village San Paolo with butcher, food shops, chemist, bar, post office, bar, pizzeria, restaurants.
15 minutes - Martina Franca, baroque wealthy town with top quality shops, restaurants, cinema, tennis courts. It has a music festival in July.
45 minutes - world heritage site, Alberobello with its trulli village.
25 minutes - Taranto with its naval base and Greek Remains
There are a number of historic hill towns such as Locorotondo, Ostuni within 30 minutes drive.
