Offering luxury self catering accommodation in Umbria for 2, 4 or 6 people, the first floor has been beautifully restored and has 2 en suite bedrooms, a large living room and fully fitted kitchen, plus use of the outside veranda and extensive gardens with olive grove. Stunning panoramas from the sun terrace in the garden, perfect for relaxing at the end of a days sightseeing. The apartment has retained many of the original features including ancient chestnut and oak beams, terracotta flooring over three hundred years old, and a pietra serena fireplace and wardrobe. Great base for those seeking to experience the rich culture, regional cuisine, vineyards, medieval hilltop towns and countryside that this stunning region of Italy has to offer. Assisi, Gubbio, Cortona, Perugia are all close by.

So it was this time: Villa Bastiola is a very pleasant surprise. It feels good, it is very complete and even more than that. Everything one could need was there. The owners are wonderful hosts.
