A highly recommended holiday base for those who love fine wines and food, arts, and architecture. Our apartments are located close to boutiques, restaurants and bars all within very easy walking distance. The accommodations are surrounded by magnificent views over Lake Trasimeno, Pienza, Monte Amiata and Val d’Orcia. Montepulciano is one of the most beautiful Medieval towns of Tuscany, resting at 600 meters above sea level protected by still impressively intact walls. The village is well known not only for the famous ruby red Vino Nobile, but also for its noble Renaissance town houses and for the elegant architecture of its churches. One of the highest and most handsome hill towns in Tuscany, Montepulciano has a rich collection of fine buildings and churches designed by some of the most distinguished architects of the Renaissance; Vignola, Sangallo, Peruzzi. The village has been chosen as location of movies such as The English Patient, A Midnight Summer Dream, Under the Tuscan Sun.

Changeover day
Weekly rentals are preferable from Saturday to Saturday.

Extra charges: Central heating (heating is metered and payed per unit – 0.82 eur per m3) - Usually only from half of October to March (subject to changes due to weather conditions).
Accessibility
Parking area for non-residents available only outside town walls (3 min. walking from the apartment – one way).
At the arrival luggage can be dropped off at the Palazzo.
On the departure day luggage can be placed in the car before 9am or the day before departure after 8pm (in both cases even in the restricted parking area).
Access to non-resident parking area and village roads inside the historical centre, available only from 8.00pm to 8.00am (time subject to changes without notice).
Outside
Facing Piazza San Francesco where the building is located our guests can find a coffee bar and restaurant. A beautiful place where to have lunch and dinner or where to have a glass of wine during the day, with great food, fantastic view and good music (literally 30 seconds from your apartments).
Coast/Beach
Coast can be reached by car in 1h 30min.
Directions: From Montepulciano follow Pienza - San Quirico - Montacino then Grosseto. Beautiful villages along the coast are: Talamone, Castiglion della Pescaia, Alberese (Parco dell'Uccellina), Porto Ercole (Monte Argentario).

From Rome Fiumicino Aeropuerto (2h / 2h30min. by car). Follow Motorway A1 – Exit at the Chiusi Exit - follow indications to Montepulciano.
From Pisa Aeropuerto (2h / 2h30min. by car). Take the Pisa – Firenze motorway then Motorway A1 direction Rome – Exit at the Bettolle - Valdichiana Exit - follow indications to Montepulciano.
From Florence Aeropuerto (1h 45 min. by car). Follow Motorway A1 direction Rome – Exit at the Valdichiana - Bettolle
