Arriving at the Alghero airport, one hour drive along the coast road towards Bosa: The nature is wild, strong, rich in colours and smells from the Mediterranean vegetation. The beaches are small bays reached on foot or by boat. The transparent sea welcomes visitors like an embrace. The town is 40 km. from Alghero. It seems majestic in the old part, set down gently on a hill with the Malaspina castle with was built in 1100 with the typical coloured houses. In the main street the houses date back to the on 1800 architecture. The most important place to visit is the cathedral built in the Romanesque style and restored in towards the end of the 1800 century, also the Romanesque church of S. Pietro on the river Temo, the old Conce built for the leathers tannery.

Bosa marina beach is 20 minutes walking (2km). Many other beaches within a few minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking on foot or by bike.
The river Temo, the only navigable river in Sardinia, flows into the sea and it is possible to rent canoes or a boat to travel on it.
The beach of Bosa Marina is 2 kilometres away, and is used a lot by families with children and the elderly.
In the centre of town it is possible to find restaurants, local craft shops, a market, and car and bike rental, the local food is of top quality and it is possible to find vegetarian menus.
For those who love sports, and good health, there is diving and windsurfing. There are also massages for ayurveda, shiatsu, lymphodrainage, muscular and yoga courses.
For those who love nature, it is possible to explore it on horseback riding along beaches and through the hills.
