Travel
Perugia 50 km, Rome 130 km. Car hire is recommended for exploring local towns but there is also a wide choice of trains from Chiusi (6 km).

Montepulciano 30 km, Florence 120 km.
Further details
The piazza has a number of interesting shops, including one where you can try your hand at making pottery. There are several excellent restaurants only steps away. The bank and post office are very close and the tourist office (with internet connection) is across the square. There are two tennis courts within walking distance, plus a roller skating rink. About 12 km away, toward Chianciano, there is a bowling arcade and a multiplex cinema. Local hikes offer panoramic views of the town and are easy to follow on the map. There is an interesting museum in town. A few km away is a unique monastery with a world class restaurant and a fascinating background story. About 15km away is San Casciano dei Bagni which has one of the best spas in the area, offering a variety of beauty treatments and thermal pools. Similarly, Chianciano, which is much larger, is also famous for its therapeutic waters. There are many local festivals and there is always something going on in the square.
Booking notes
Minimum rental period 1 week, from Saturday to Saturday. In special cases involving last minute availability or low season, we may accept shorter periods and will reserve the right to modify the weekly rate. To hold a reservation a deposit of 50% of the total price. Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you a confirmation. The balance of the rent must be received no later than 30 days before the beginning of the rental period. Payment by bank transfer to an account in the UK.
