Shambala Retreat

Shambala offers 6 individually decorated rooms with Wi-fi & internet connection in all of the rooms. All Premier double rooms can be made into twin rooms. Guest rooms are all en-suite with a shower. The pool is reached by several steps leading down from nearby the rooms.

All rooms are non-smoking with spectacular mountain views. Guest rooms are warm and comfortable, set in peaceful surroundings.
All rooms are en-suite and fully heated. Each room has a Mini Bar, TV, Video, CD player, professional hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, shower gel/shampoo, bathrobes and spa slippers.

Outside
Shambala B & B Country House is set in the beautiful Italian country side, "The real Italy" were you will find spectacular views of the Sibillini mountains. Shambala offers outside dinning for our guests (weather permitting) during the summer season. There are fresh eggs available for breakfast from the hens at Shambala. A 12 x 6 metre swimming pool with hydromassage is for the use of our guests with plenty of sun loungers around the pool area. You will find tables and chairs outside were you may relax with a drink. An open air gym is available in the summer.
Shambala also has a team of proffessional event planners who organise Weddings which can be held Shambala or a venue nearby. For those clients interested in energy work we have our own outside pyramid.

Coast/Beach
Civitanova Resort 30 minutes away, has a pebble beach, along side a stretch of promenade with lots of fresh fish restaurants. The Centre is only 10 minutes walk from the beach with lots of shops. Porta San Giorgio 45 minutes away, has a lovely sandy beach with a Marina at the south end. It also has lots of fresh fish restaurants.

Golf
Championship Golf course near Ancona Approx 1hr 15mins by car. There is a golf driving range 30 minutes away by car.

Skiing
Experience the charm and excitement of the Sibillini Mountains in the winter. This is an opportunity to do some downhill skiing, cross country skiing or snowboarding amongst the breathtaking views of the Sibillini Mountains. Marche offers a crowd free Winter Snow experience with low ski pass prices. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or an expert skier, there are pistes for all levels of Skiing. Shambala retreat is situated 25 minutes away from the nearest Ski resort at Sassotetto near Sarnano.

Weddings in the medieval village of San Ginesio can be arranged through us at Shamabala Retreat costing a great deal less than you might think. We can organise Outside Catering, flowers, photography, accommodation and everything you would need for that Perfect Wedding at the right price.
Holistic courses and workshops are held throughout the year, these include Pyramid Healing, Reiki, Meditation. If you are without a car we can arrange half day or full day trips such as a trip to Assisi, trips to the Sibillini mountains, Loreto, Frassasi caves, local Markets, day at a nearby beach,
Town of Macerata or Tolentino, Trotting at Montegiorio, shopping trips to the Italian designer shoe and clothing outlets, day trips to the coast or tailor make your trips. We can arrange Hot Air Ballon trips with bottle of bubbly, which can take off from Shambla Retreat. Quad biking, hiking and walking can also be arranged.

Ancona Falconara Airport is approx 1hr 15mins by car from us Pescara Airport is approx 2hrs by car. Car hire is available at all the Airports which can be booked in advance or if you wish to relax completely, we can arrange private transport.

San Ginesio is a Medieval walled village which is a very important centre of "Piceno" in the province of Marcerata.
It has superb panoramic views in addition to its art, history and architecture. If you are looking for a pampering break, a relaxing holiday, looking for property, getting married or having a honeymoon in San Ginesio, Shambala is an idilic place away from mass tourism. Shambala is a superb location for painting, walking, birdwatching, cycling & sightseeing holidays. There are lots of local markets to visit daily inluding an antique market once a month in Ascoli.
There are plenty of local restaurants, bars and cafes. Individual local shops include the newsagents, banks, bakers, butchers, grocers, hairdressers, ironmongers and many more.
There are also many medieval events and festivals throughout the year.

Bookings can be made by e-mail or by telephone. We ask for a 25% deposit and the balance may be paid on departure by cash or credit card. We do not have an extra charge for credit card payments.
