Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday but may be flexible depending on bookings and flight availability. Guests should arrive after 4.00pm and leave by 10am day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
Property heated for winter/ski lets. Fireplace in kitchen as well as central heating.

Owners live in a private apartment with separate entrance but are on hand if necessary.

The nearest beach is at Porto San Giorgio (45 mins by car)
The whole of the Adriatic Riviera offers a choice of beach resorts with the most dramatic coastal scenery to be found at Conero.
Golf
Practice range at Abbadia di Fiastra. Championship course located south of Ancona (1 hour drive).
Skiing
Skiing is available at the ski centres at Sassetto above the town of Sarnano (10 mins). Slopes are much less crowded than those in Northern Italy making them suitable for beginners and less experienced skiers as well as those who are more adept. Tobagganing, snowboarding. All equipment may be hired at the centre or in town.

Opera Breaks- Include visits to the renowned Macerata Sferisterio where performances of the highest calibre take place during the summer. Mention on booking and we'll send you details of next season's productions and book tickets ready for your arrival.
Shopping and Spa Breaks- tours can be arranged of the wonderful designer outlets where huge savings are to be made on well-known brands of clothing and shoes. Combine with beauty treatments at the San Giacomo spa in Sarnano.
Tennis holidays can be arranged for small groups or players needing practice on grass.
Travel
Nearest airports: Ancona - 1hr 15mins, Pescara - 2hrs, Perugia - 1hr 45 mins, Rimini - 2 hrs, Forli - 2hrs 30 mins,
All are served by Ryainair. Easyjet and Rome both serve Rome 3hrs away. Port of Ancona - 1hr for boats to Greece, Croatia. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Gualdo - 1km for basic amenities.
Sarnano - 8km - a spa town with health/beauty farm. Market Thurs.
Macerata - 45km University town boasting wonderful open air summer opera festival.
Ascoli Piceno - a fine town with piazza surrounded by porticoes.
Rome, Bologna, Perugia, Spoleto and San Marino all possible to visit on a day trip.
Further details
The Sibillini National Park provides ample opportunity for nature lovers to enjoy rambling, birdwatching and rare species of wild flowers. Lake Fiastra has lovely picnic spots and a range of sports. There is also a flying school near Sarnano where one can paraglide etc.
Le Marche has an extensive range of restaurants and agriturismi serving home-cooked food using the freshest of ingredients at very reasonable prices. And of course the icecream is not to be missed!
Booking notes
30-50% of rental fee required to secure booking with balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. Security deposit of £200 payable two weeks before arrival - to be returned within 14 days of departure.
