During the summer months, Ceriana is filled with music, dancing, entertainment and dinning in the main piazza. Small town living. Medieval Ceriana is a labyrinth consisting of thousands of little pathways throughout the village. The village is a maze, and finding your way back home is fun and a challenge. We prefer Saturday changeover, but flexible during off-season. Saturday to Saturday in the summers.

Cool breezed during the summer months. House is very cool during the summers, due to thick stone walls.
Accessibility
Town has not changed since the Middle Ages, there are many original uneven steps, pathways, staircases, cobblestone roads, etc. Everyday requires walking on these beautiful uneven streets. Cars cannot fit in the roads, they were originally made for donkeys. The House was built in the late 13th century with a stone staircase not suitable for the disabled.

About the owner
Our main focus is to share our homes with large families or groups at an affordable price. We travel with a very large family (10-14 people) and we understand how difficult it is to find accommodations under one roof and how costly a vacation can be with a group this size. We believe in offering our homes at a very low rate.
The Palazzo/Villa can be divided into 3 separate apartments each sleeps 2-5 and each have independent entrances, kitchen, bedroom(s), livingroom and bathroom. Perfect accommodations for a large family or two families wanting to vacation together and have some privacy.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love the Italian Riviera and wanted to spend our summers discovering it. We decided to buy a great medieval house in the Historical Center of Ceriana to spend cool summers while the kids go to Italian Summer Camp to learn Italian. We completely remodel the old house with modern conveniences and kept the original stone walls revealed. The house can sleep up to 10-people and has a great country style kitchen. We spend part of our summers here and the other part in the South of Rome in another medieval town, FONDI. In Fondi we bought a Villa-Palazzo that can sleep up to 16 people and can be divided into 3 separate apartments each sleeping 2-4. We rent this property too. It is another fantastic location to explore Rome, Pompeii, and many nearby Mediterranean seaside villages.
Unique benefits of the property
During the summer months, especially July and August, Ceriana is filled with activities for the family. Almost every weekend there are concerts, dances, BBQ, entertainment, events, exhibitions, wine tasting, sausage competition, fraternity choirs, trout festival, and much more!!! Come join the fun. It is a great place to spend summers with kids. If you like nature, there is a wonderful river and many hiking trails that will lead you to some amazing view.
