Among the historic villas dotted around the countryside near Lucca, Villa Oliva, which lies just 6 kms from the town of Lucca, occupies an important post due to it's special historic and artistic value. The grounds of the villa, consisting of various different types of plants and tree. Even today due to it's beauty, it is listed among the historic Italian gardens and due to this is also visited. Alongside the villa - occupied by the owner - there is the Dependance, consisted by four apartments all connected and to be rent as a one property. Ideal for Families who want to share a holiday together maintaining their own privacy. Large private pool (18x8m). Personal trainer in the pool upon request. Tennis court at guests disposition in synthetic grass. In recent years Villa Oliva has been host for some evenings in August to a classical music festival. A unique opportunity of passing a wonderful, different evening. Broadband internet connection.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros.
Minimum rent is 1 week. In winter time for long and short period, flexible.
Individual apartments can be rented only for last minute booking. For weekends only according to availability, please contact owner directly.
Cancellations Terms: Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge.
4-6 weeks before – 50% of rate refunded. 2 weeks – 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks – no refund.

Changeover day
Day of arrival: Saturday between 17.00 and 19.00, after 20.00 late charge of €50 until 23.00. Departure before 10.00 on Saturday.

Apt Dalia: Big living/dining room with fireplace, 3 steps lead to the kitchen equipped with oven and dishwasher and to the door for the internal stairs, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedrooms, 1 single passage bedroom, 2 bathrooms with shower. Apt Gardenia: Large living room with fireplace, open air kitchen, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom and bathroom with bathtub, 1 small walk-through living-room with TV and Broadband internet connection. Independent entrance from the internal stair or from the garden. Apt Margherita: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, dining room/kitchen area with washing machine, small living room with direct access to the garden of the Villa. Apt Zinnia: Lower Floor: (with access from the internal stairs, 18 steps) living-room with kitchen area leading to the external private area for dining outside (a furnishing terracing above the swimming-pool), 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower.

About the owner
Family owner is an old Genovese family. Bought the property before the '50th due to the beauty of the place. I was born in Genoa, but now I leave in Germany with my husband and I help my family to manage the property.

Year purchased: before 1950

Why the owner chose a home in this location
My grandfather already bought this property soon after the second world war. He loved, as well as all of us now, the beauty of this place. Perfect location, open country side surrounded by beautiful olive trees hills together with the easy access to Lucca town and the wide and long beach cost.

Unique benefits of the property
The property has a 5 hectares park inside the Villa Oliva. One of the most beautiful typical Italian garden of the entire area. The pool is also one of the first pool built in the area and maybe the largest (18x8m). The renter also would benefit, of a synthetic grass Tennis court, mini football ground, volleyball ground and tennis table. A barbecue area and the possibility to host up to 16 people all together seated inside or outside on the large terrace above the pool. The guests will be hosted in the dependence of the Villa, divided into 4 apartments all fully furnished and connected between them with direct access to the pool and the park of the villa, surrounded by the peace of the Tuscan countryside only 15 minutes drive from Lucca town. Ideal for families and/or groups of friends.
