Not suitable for people with mobility problems due to steep steps leading down to apartment.
Outside
Tranquil herb-filled private garden with apricot and fig tree. Gets the sun most of the day. Very rare to find a garden in the old part of Barga. Wooden table and chairs and wooden loungers plus parasol are provided.
Coast/Beach
One hour and 15 mins drive to the Tuscan coast.
Special interest holidays
Highly recommended for painting holidays as the owner of the property is a professional artist. Personal tuition is available upon request.
Travel
Pisa Airport is just one hour and 15 mins drive away. Car hire is not essential. You can get to Barga by train and bus. Pick-up/drop-off service available on request. Please enquire for costs.
Distances
Barga is a perfect base for exploring the region’s cultural cities. The beautiful walled city of Lucca is only a 45-minute drive away, with Pisa just over an hour and Florence 2 hours by car. The local train station is only 5 minutes away from Barga, with good connections to
Pisa Airport, Lucca and Florence.
