Villa Saint Angelo is a single story property which comfortably accommodates 6 persons. There are 2 double rooms and a room most suitable for children with bunk beds. 2 shower rooms and a bathroom make shower time easy. The villa sits on a hill giving fabulous views whilst only 5 mins by car to local town. It is in a very quiet location but plenty of restaurants and bars are available for dining in the beautiful town of Tropea.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is very suitable for children, who will love the beach culture and be welcomed by the Italian people themselves.
Accessibility
Whilst the property is on one level there is a step up to the kitchen and there are a few steps down to the property.
Outside
Picturesque garden with wonderful views of coastline and across to Eolian Islands.
There are 2 outdoor terraces; the main most suitable for outside dining with a covered portico and close access to charcoal B-B-Q. The second is a private terrace to the master suite.
There are plenty of sunbathing chairs and an outdoor dining suite.
Coast/Beach
There are a variety of beaches within a 10 minute car drive. The beaches are most picturesque with golden sands, clear turquoise waters and a rugged backdrop of cliffs.
Water sports are available 'in season' however in the quieter months very few people are to be found on the beach during the week.
Travel
Direct flights run from Stansted to Lamezia and the villa is an easy 50 minutes in a car from the airport. Flights are booked through Ryan Air. Cars can be rented from the airport and directions are available on the villa's web site.
Alternatively it is a lovely journey from Rome or Naples via train if first class train seats are purchased. These are very reasonably priced and the journey hugs the coast as it winds into southern Italy.
Distances
Tropea is the nearest town and is 5 minutes away by car. This boasts many churches and good local restaurant and bar culture. Most beaches are within a 10 minute car journey.
The Eolian islands are volcanic islands the most famous of which is Stromboli. These can be accessed via boat and bookings are secured in the town of Tropea. These are day excursions, alternatively there is the facility to stay over in the hotel.
Sicily is a 4 hr run in the car; worth a visit but would require a stop over

Plenty of local supermarkets are available and a permanent
few market stalls boast fresh fish, fruit and veg.
A more florid market visits on a Tuesday and Saturday.
Lots of restaurants and bars will cater for most tastes.
