'Casa dei Cieli occupies a sun-drenched elevated position at the end of a tranquil lane. The gorgeous panorama from the house encompasses a sweeping view of the wonderful Sibillini mountains, no less than 6 historic hill top towns and alternating patchworks of sunflowers, vineyards and grain-fields. Inside charm abounds with the use of high quality materials, including travertine and oak flooring, wood beamed ceilings and granite worksurfaces. This is complimented with premium furnishings which ensure maximum comfort. Outside the gardens have been landscaped to include various terraces and dining areas, along with a large private saltwater pool with plenty of sunbeds, steamers and umbrellas to help you unwind and take in the view. The ancient walled city of Ripatransone is a short drive away as are the beaches of Cupra Marittima, Grottammare and San Benedetto, whilst the National Park encompassing the Sibillini mountains, where skiing is available in winter, is 50 mins away.

Changeover day

Notes on accommodation
No smoking. No pets. All windows have shutters and are double glazed. House can be fully centrally heated for offpeak rentals at an additional charge (£10 per day). Swimming pool has an electric pool cover, but is not fenced so children should be supervised at all times. Garden is surrounded by screened fencing so suitable for children.

Outside
Outside space is abundant and recently the grounds have been extensively landscaped providing areas of lawn, beautifully planted beds and several different terrace areas for alfresco dining. There are various types of outdoor furniture including teak loungers & sunbeds, parasols and a large dining table. Also a barbecue is provided, if the mood takes you. The salt-water swimming pool (much softer water to swim in than a chlorine pool) is 9m x 5m with a Roman end for easy walk-in access when you fancy a dip! There is also an outside shower next to the pool for your convenience.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Grottammare which is 15 mins drive. Beautiful sandy beaches go on for miles and loungers and parasols can be hired if required. The beach along this stretch of coast is very good for children as there are man made rock barriers that limit the depth and the wave height of the water. The beach has a wonderful palm tree lined promenade with many restaurants along it - particularly good if you like fish dishes! Cupra Marittima & San Benedetto are also very close.
Golf
There is a 9-hole golf course near Carassai about 30 mins or the 18-hole Conero Golf Club is about an hours drive North, near Sirolo.
Skiing
Low-key family skiing is under a hour's drive away in the Sibillini mountains.

Percara 1hr - Ryanair served from Stansted.
Bologna 2.5-3hrs - British Airways served from Gatwick and Ryanair served.
Rome 2.5-3hrs - British Airways served from Heathrow or Gatwick and Ryanair or Easyjet served.
Distances
We are 5 mins drive to the ancient walled city of Ripatransone, which has great historical interest and has all the amenities you will need. From our house you can also see the hill top towns of:-
Montefiore 6km;
Carassai 5km;
Montalto 10km;
Montedinove 14km;
Cossignano 5km.
Further details
Le Marche is famed for its wonderful wines and Casa dei Cieli is within a short walk to a fantastic winery in San Giuseppe. Ripatransone (5 mins drive away) has supermarkets, chemists, bakers, butchers, cafe/bars, restaurants, banks and numerous buildings of historic interest including a theatre, cathedral, and museum. It has various festivals going on in the summer months. There are many other hill top towns within easy reach, all with lots to discover. The National Park and Sibillini mountains are under an hour's drive away and are wonderful for walking, mountain biking, paragliding, horseriding and watersports on some of the lakes. Macerata is under an hour away and has an opera festival throughout the summer in its open air amphitheatre. There are many festivals around the area throughout the year, but of particular note is the Quintana, jousting festival, in Ascoli Piceno (about 40 mins away). This is one of the most authentic and exciting medieval shows in Le Marche and takes place in the main square on the first Sunday of August.
Booking notes
25% of the total booking fee is payable to secure the property. Full payment 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of £400 (550 euros) is required at the time of payment of the balance for damages/breakages and will be refunded to you after the property has been checked after your departure. Payment by cheque or bank transfer.
