The building is painted in a warm dark orange and has wooden windows and doors; the balcony is terracotta-floored adding to the Mediterranean atmosphere of the overall setting. The location of the apartment on a hill provides fresh and cool air even in summer. There is free car parking. The owners speak Italian, German, English and French. The balcony offers a stunning view of the hills on one side and the sea on the other. In-between you can see Taormina and Castelmola, two beautiful medieval towns just a few kilometers away, a breathtaking sight especially at night. The magic view with its tranquillity will contribute to recharge your spirits. It is an ideal place for adults and for children to relax and enjoy Sicily with its beautiful landscape, high culture, the delicious cuisine and its great beaches.

Outside
There is a large terracotta-floored balcony overlooking the hill the sea and Taormina, which offers a stunning view especially at night. The balcony is equipped with a retractable canopy/awning, a table, 4 chairs, and 2 sun beds. Ideal for meals outside as well as sunbathing.
Coast/Beach
Letojanni beach is only a 7 minute walk from the apartment. It has both free space and private lidos where you can rent sun beds and umbrellas. You can do various water sports here and it is ideal also for children.
Golf
Only 32 km from Letojanni you can find Il Pěcciolo Golf Club, an 18-hole par 72 golf course on the slopes of the volcano Etna. The 18 holes are situated amongst oaks, hazels and vineyards and are surrounded by fields of lava from Etna's eruptions.
Skiing
There are two skiing areas on Mount Etna; the southern slope is Rifugio Sapienza and the northern resort is Linguaglossa. The snow also provides ample opportunity for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. Both locations are reachable within 45 minutes by car, ideal for daily trips from Letojanni.
Special interest holidays
The main attraction in Letojanni is the beach with its various water sports activities and sun-bathing.
Right in front of the beach is the main square with a cute little church as well as delicatessen shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, where you can taste the fresh and organic local produce that makes Sicilian cuisine an especially joyful experience. The square and the small pedestrian streets around it with shops and boutiques are the actual centre of the village, only a 5 minutes walk away from the apartment.
Aside from Letojanni itself, the location allows easy excursions to close by Taormina and its surrounding villages, to Messina, Catania, or also to Siracusa, which is on the list of world heritage sites.
A day trip to Mount Etna is an unforgettable experience, it is Europe's largest active volcano and one of the most active on Earth.
Travel
The closest airport is in Catania, 55 kilometers or a 30 min drive to/from Letojanni (Taormina highway exit). On request, we organise transfer from the airport to Letojanni and return.
To travel around to the nearby villages, you can take a public bus and trains directly from Letojanni. The best way to get to further away destinations is by car; there are several car rental companies in Letojanni/Taormina.

We ask for 30% of the full rental price as a deposit upon booking request. The balance of the total rental price will have to be paid upon arrival.
