The first floor apartment enjoys lovely views of the countryside from the terraces and large swimming pool. The interior is decorated in the Italian style and has all modern comforts. An open plan, spacious living area with working log burning fire, opens to the dining area and fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, cookware, tableware and linen. French doors lead onto the west facing terrace overlooking the swimming pool and Sibilini mountains. There are 2 large double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom. A new luxury bathroom offers a superb walk-in shower. The 12 metre swimming pool has a diving board, 3 metre deep end, and is set in a landscaped garden offering shady areas as well as substantial sunbathing areas. There are 2 large outdoor eating areas with BBQ, a hammock invites you to catch up with your book.

Private landscaped garden, 2 patios with spacious eating areas - 1 shaded, BBQ on own terrace, pool sun loungers, hammock, garden lighting.
The swimming pool is 12 x 6 meters with a large diving pit. Half of the pool is dedicated to the shallow end (1.20 meters deep). There is a shelf of half metre width all around the diving pit. The pool has internal and external lighting and the sunbathing area aroundall sides of the pool is flat and safe for children. The pool overlooks fantastic views of the countryside, the small hilltop town of Gualdo and beautiful landscaped flower and vegetable gardens which are well maintained by the owners.
Coast/Beach
Coast/beaches 50 km. The apartment conains good information of all beaches inthe area which includes Loretta, Conero, Civitanove, Porto San Giogio and San Benedetto.
Skiing
40 minute drive to ski slopes based in Sarnano.
Travel
Ancona/Pescara airports 50 km. Car hire recommended.
Distances
Le Marche Sarnano, one of the few towns in Le Marche which have preserved the mediaeval town centre completely, is 10 minutes away and offers most services; pizzeria's, restaurants, hospital, supermarket, tennis courts, and health spa - Fonte San Giacomo - which is famous for its spa with thermal baths and local bottled water. Outside the town there is a winter ski resort. The morning market is on Thursday. Further afield is the capital of the province: Macerata.

The village of Gualdo is approximately 680 metres above sea level. Casa Rosa is a hillside farmhouse situated in the countryside about 1 km from the medieval hilltop village of Gualdo. The house lies at the end of a ‘white road’ 200 metres from the main road. It is peaceful, secluded and surrounded by farmland and trees. The apartment has magnificent views over the valleys towards the medieval village of Gualdo and the Sibillini Mountains, which are snow capped for much of the year. Lake Fiastra is very nearby offering unlimited outdoor/sporting activities and the Adriatic coast offers stunning resorts that will appeal to all requirements.

We had an excellent time at Casa Rosa. Jacky & Mike made us very welcome. The location and the property were stunning. The pool really was the icing on the cake, with views al around and a diving board to keep the kids (and adults) amused. Mike never intruded and yo hardly knew he was there. That said, he was always on hand when needed, for advice on where to eat, of just for a friendly chat. Mike seems to instinctively know how to achieve a balance between making you welcome, but never intruding. We really appreciated that.
