The villa is 15 minutes from the borders of Tuscany with the breathtaking Tuscan city of Florence only an hour and a half’s drive (either on the scenic country roads or via the Autostrada) or by train.

The Bologna of learning and knowledge, famous for the oldest University in the world, the Alma Mater Studiorum, merges with the Bologna of hearty flavours.Most of all, Bologna is the city of porticos, there are reputedly some 40 kilometres of arcades, transforming the historic core into one big covered mall, for business & shopping. The shade created by the porticos during the torrid Bolognese summers and the shelter they provide if it rains, are a real bonus! The native Bolognese love to promenade beneath their porticos and this gives the acoustic sounds and echoes of happy socialising!
