Situated in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, close to the centre of Italy yet only half an hour from Perugia airport. Stunning, tranquil and secluded villa with infinity pool and superb views. Located a short walk from the local village of Umbertide which offers bars restaurants and local shops. Umbria is an undiscovered gem of a region and although easily accessible via air (Ryanair to Perugia) is unspoilt by tourism and offers a genuine taste of Italy. Casella sleeps from 6 - 10 very comfortably and is available for an introductory offer rate having been let to friends and family over the last two years.

Outside
The garden offers and stunning infinity pool, garden furniture, BBQ area, patio, pergola's for outside dining and stunning views.
Travel
Car hire is recommended. Ryanair fly to Perugia (20 minutes drive) on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Stansted Airport, and Bologna Forli and Ancona daily. Directions to Casella will be supplied on booking.
Distances
10-15 minute walk to the village of Montone. Two hundred yards on the right is a frutta and veduria, or general grocery shop. Lovely lady, very helpful with some good quality produce.
The butcher is a little further down on the left, with the baker slightly further on the left set back from the road. In the same area is a supermarket and a piante & fiore shop.
There is also a butcher/ general store in the main square in Montone. Umbertide is a 20 minute drive.

Markets in the area:
Perugia-
(Palazzo della Prefettura, in summer, Rocca Paolina, in winter, - last weekend of the month). The main attraction here are ceramics, from the most precious to the most utilitarian, all colorfully decorated with patterns in use for centuries. Antique costume jewelry is another highlight.
Bastia Umbra-
(Piazza Mazzini, Sunday before the 21st in March, June, September and December). In case you didn't figure out the puzzle, this market takes place at the beginning of each of the four seasons, to which it is dedicated. The fifty stands sell small inexpensive items, mostly, against the backdrop of the 14th-century church of Santa Croce.
Castiglione del Lago-
(Piazza Gramsci, third Saturday of the month, April to September). Another great place to find the wonderful local ceramics, along with antique archery equipment. The lovely little town overlooks Lake Trasimeno.
Todi-
(Piazza Comunale, last week in March). Leading antique dealers from all over Italy gather to sell furniture, paintings, rugs, bronze figures and antique ceramics.
Spoleto-
(Historic center of town, second Sunday of the month).
Pissignano-
(Via Flaminia, first Sunday of the month).
Narni-
(Piazza dei Priori, third Saturday of the month).
Cittą di Castello-
(Town center, third Saturday of the month).
Gubbio-
(Town center, second weekend of the month).
