Our villa, Casa Millie, is perched high up on a south-facing hill close to the nearby village of Gualdo. We enjoy the most beautiful and breathtaking views in the Le Marche region. As you look out, our sun flower and poppy fields are ablaze with colour and they lead out onto the rolling farmlands of the surrounding countryside which are interspersed with oak woodlands. On the horizon, the majestic Sibilline Mountains beckon you. Ours is a truly idyllic and tranquil environment for any time of year - ski, sun and relax any time of year. Casa Millie is a listed historical building and was once a farmhouse. Formerly known as The Iris House, we have upgraded the house while retaining most of its original features, including the beamed sitting room with open fireplace, and the downstairs dining and kitchen areas where the animals originally were kept. Casa Millie has finally come of age and is a welcome retreat for all her visitors.

Egyptian cotton linen and beautiful fluffy towels are supplied as well as pool towels. These are changed weekly. |

Not really suitable for wheel chair users.

The portico at the front of our house offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside, and leads on to a shaded area where guests can relax under a large wisteria and beautiful vines. There is a beautiful barbecue area with a working original forno for baking bread and pizzas, and for cooking meat the Marchigiani way.

The idyllic Le Marche region offers a wealth of activities from sightseeing, open air opera, and the most idyllic countryside to explore and relax in.
Mount Sibillini National Park: horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding and trekking can be enjoyed. The Conero National Park is on the Adriatic coastline.
There are many locations of historical interest within half an hour's driving: Sarnano - the medieval historical town with quaint shops, eateries and museums. Amandola - a town renowned for its unique tradition of ebony furniture and marquetry artistry. Caldarola - famous for its castles. Serrapetrona - renowned for its elliptic square, palaces and mansions, and for its summer festivals. Camerino - A ducal city of antique magnificence. Urbisaglia - The Roman ruins in this ancient town are worth visiting. Visit the Greco-Roman theatre festival at the magnificent amphitheatre. Macerata - Opera and art go on display around the year. Art and Culture. Shopping.
Booking notes
50% of the rental price required to secure booking and balance to be paid one month prior to occupation. Tariff includes: water, electricity, gas and linen (unless stated otherwise). Heating is not included in price and charged according to use. A security deposit of 350 euros will be requested and will be refunded within seven days of departure, subject to any damage or additional expenses incurred.
