Notes on prices
Raffaello and Rossini have a connecting door so can be combined to make a very large apartment - enquire about the special price when booking two together. (Sleeps up to 8)
Discounts are available for rentals of more than two weeks, please contact us for more information. There are no additional charges for heating.

Changeover day
During high summer the normal changeover day is Saturday but we will usually accommodate some changeovers on other days - please enquire.

Leopardi (1 Bedroom sleeps 2 + 2 )

This first floor apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed. It has a large private terrace with stunning views of the pool, valley and hillside villages. Spacious lounge/diner/kitchen area. The lounge has two sofas (one converts to double bed), TV, DVD player and HiFi. The kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops, full oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Fully equipped bathroom.

Rossini (1 Bedroom)

Sleeps 2 + 2. This large apartment has a bedroom with queen size bed and views over the pool and surrounding countryside. The bathroom has large shower cubicle and powerful shower. The lounge has two sofas (one converts to a double bed), TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi and fireplace. The separate kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops, full oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. There is a private garden. This apartment can be interconnected with Raffaello to provide a very spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment suite sleeping up to 8 people. (special reduced rates apply)

Raffaello (1 Bedroom)

Sleeps 2 + 2. The showpiece apartment with gable vaulted roof and views to the south and west across the valley and the mountains. Large open-plan lounge/kitchen diner has two sofas (one converts to a double bed), TV, DVD, stereo and fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and granite worktops. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and the en-suite bathroom has a large shower cubicle with power shower. There is a private garden under the shade of a large fig tree. This apartment can be interconnected with Rossini to provide a very spacious 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartement suite sleeping up to 8 people. (Special reduced rates apply)

Orsini (1 Bedroom sleeps 2 + 1)

This first floor apartment has an open plan lounge/diner with sofas, TV, DVD and Hifi and panoramic views of the mountains, valley and pool. Kitchen is fully equipped with granite worktops, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. Bedroom has two large single beds with space for an additioanl bed /cot if required. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle with powerful shower. There is a dedicated garden in front of the house with stunning views across the valley.

Notes on accommodation
All apartments are light and airy, benefiting from the thick solid walls which keep them cool in summer and warm in winter. Each centrally heated apartment is double glazed and has fly screens and shutters on all windows. If you need more space, Raffaello and Rossini are inter-connected to make a very large 2 bed/2 bath apartment suite (see prices).

Accessibility
Raffaello is the largest apartment and is situated on the ground floor, it has a small ramp leading from the lounge to the bedroom. It has a spacious bathroom and floor level shower cubicle. It has been designed for those with restricted mobility. Please contact us before booking so we can ensure it meets your requirements.

Outside
The 15m heated pool benefits from sun all day long and is bordered by a large split level deck with sun loungers and tables. We regularly use the brick bread oven to cook complimentary home made pizza, this has become a great favourite with our guests. Each apartment has its own dedicated outdoor space suitable for dining or relaxing. Additionally, there are several other areas for relaxing including several barbecues and hammocks.

Coast/Beach
The coast is 30 minutes drive away. There are a selection of beaches to suit all tastes from quiet secluded coves to lively wide sandy resorts.

Skiing
Skiing is available about 45 mins from Casal dei Fichi in the Sibiline mountains.

The local area is perfect for walking and cycling and we will be happy to guide you to the best locations based on your level and personal requirements. The views and varied scenery make it ideal for artists and photographers. As part of your holiday you can now learn how to prepare, cook and present local specialities at the fantastic il Maniero restaurant and art club, just 20 minutes from Casal dei Fichi. You will enjoy a warm welcome from academy chef, Guida Stacchietti who will help you create regional dishes using local fresh ingredients. Staying in luxury self catering apartments, complete with cooking facilities, you will have plenty of spare time to visit the many local markets and try out your newly taught skills using local recipes supplied by the restaurant. Travel
Ancona airport is less than 1 hour's drive away and Pescara and Rimini are 90 minutes away. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged for pickup at the airport.

Distances
The local town of Francavilla d'Ete is 2km away with bars, restaurant, shops, bank and historic churches. Several walled towns are within 15 minutes' drive with a variety of shops and restaurants. We enjoy breathtaking views of the Sibiline Mountains which can be reached in 45 minutes. Macerata with its famous opera festival and Ascoli Piceno are within easy reach.

Guests staying with us are very welcome to help themselves to produce from our extensive orchard, vegetable and herb garden. Check out the Italian cookbook in every apartment and prepare something special for lunch or dinner !
