On the ground floor the bedroom and the bathroom are specifically adapted for wheelchair users or people with mobility problems.

The house is surrounded by a big private garden and woods. An outdoor terrace decorated with red roses, swimming pool (5x10m) with gazebo and sunchairs, an ancient hoeven and an ample playground are of private use of the guests. The woods around the house are full of walk paths used by hunters and local people.

The nearest airport is in Florence is 50km. The use of car is essential to reach the Poggiolo. You can rent a car at the airport, the drive on the A1 Motorway until Valdarno gate where you can exit and reach Montevarchi city, from there in 20 minutes driving you will cross the villages of Levane, Bucine, Ambra and turn left to Badia a Ruoti Village. Badia a Ruoti is on road n°540 linking Siena to Arezzo. The Poggiolo is right on the ridge above Bdia (800m).
