Lake Trasimeno, the third largest lake in Italy, and where Hannibal defeated the Romans, is only a 10 minute drive from the apartment. There are several beaches around the lake which also offer water sports. For those guests preferring the sea, this is a two hour drive from the apartment.

Golf half an hour away in Perugia.
Skiing
Two hours - Mont Amiata.

Travel
There are several airports which are convenient to the apartment. Florence airport is one hour, Perugia airport is 45 minutes away, and both Pisa or Rome airports are a two hour drive from the apartment. A car is recommended to visit the many places of interest in both Tuscany and Umbria.

The nearest village is about 2kms from the apartment, with the centre of the beautiful medieval hilltop town of Cortona only a 5 minute drive from the apartment.

The nearest village has a supermarket, bar and pizzeria. Camucia and Cortona have numerous restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks, etc.
