Notes on accommodation
La Petra Nera is a large and spacious trullo wich has been recently restored to a very high standard.
The trullos are typical of the Murgie, in the region of Apulia.
The property is situated about one mile outside San Michele Salentino part of territory of Alto Salento surrounded by fruit trees. Large BBQ area.
There is also an area with swings for childrens to play.
Pets are welcome.
Furthermore these places are also very famous for their traditional cuisine based on the use of olive oil.

The nearest beach is 15 minutes drive, Santa Sabina on the Adriatic coast, and Torre Guaceto, national marine reserve-park with 7 km of coast.
Golf
5 star luxury Golf resort and spa near the fishing village of Savelletri near Fasano, which is mid-way between Bari and Brindisi. San Domenico golf course is approx 40 mins away.

For bookings of 10 people we provide cookery demonstrations (home made pastas, like orecchiette alle cime di rapa, a local speciality).
Travel
The nearest airport is Brindisi 30 minutes by car frequently served by Ryanair at very convenient prices and about 60 minutes from Bari also served by Ryanair.
Distances
Many daily trips are also possible : Grottaglie (known for their ceramics), Ostuni, (the white city), Alberobello (city of trullo), Oria, Mesagne, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, all beautiful tourist goals.

A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total amount must be sent within 10 days, otherwise your booking option will be released.
