A property in the old village of Piansano which is only a 10 mins drive to Lake Bolsena. Typical old style with lots of Italian charm. The region is full of historical Etruscan sites especially at Vulci where you can find Estruscan tombs and museums. Rome is only 90km. Cross over the borders into Umbria and Tuscany to visit famous towns like Orvieto, Pitigliano, Siena, Florence. Or try a little wine tasting in Montepulciano or Pitigliano. The wine Est Est Est is produced here at Montefiascone. In Viterbo or Sartunia you can indulge in the hot thermal baths both public and private. The beach is only a 30 mins drive and offers both private and public facilities along with many restaurants and bars. This zone is most important for its making of cheese like Ricotta and Pecorino. Canino a nearby village is famous for its extra virgin olive oil. In the city of Viterbo you will find Italian designer shops. Most villages have a market day selling wonderful fresh produce.
