The apartment is located on a mountain road between lakes Lugano and Como. On the large south oriented balcony you can sit and enjoy your meals delighted by the wonderful view of lakes Lugano and Piano. The apartment located at 500m above sea level, in summertime is favoured by a constant mountain breeze that guarantees more comfortable temperatures than in the valley and the lake side. It is an ideal starting point for excursions to mountains and valley sites and to the Lake Piano Regional Park, for discovery of natural and cultural treasures of the lakes Lugano and Como. From Menaggio or Porlezza, you can take a boat trip to beautiful monuments such as Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi D’Eril, Piona’s Abbay (just to name a few).

Prices are for property per week in euros.
200 euros refundable cash deposit is requested at arrival day and 60 euros for final cleaning expenses. Electricity and gas are included in the rental price. Extra charge for heating depending on the season.

The swimming pool, 11m x 5.40m (open in summer), is shared with the other apartments of the complex.

Lake Lugano is 3km and Lake Como is 10km from the apartment.
Golf
Golfers will appreciate the prestigious 'Menaggio Golf Club', a place of British tradition on Lake Como, a Mecca of golfing culture since 1906, situated at only 8km (10 minute drive) from the apartment. The Golf club Lanzo at Lanzo d'Intelvi is about 20km from the apartment.
Skiing
Famous winter sport resorts such as St. Moritz, Madesimo, Bormio, the Gotthard mountain region, Splugen or San Bernardino are at about 2 hours car-distance. Locals tend to go on a day-outing for skiing and hiking, for lovely walks in the snow and sledding, in the nearby valleys.

From Menaggio, main resort in the central lake area you can reach by ferry, bus, speed and cruise boat connections. Villa Carlotta - Tremezzo 6km, Varenna and Bellagio 4km via ferry, Colico 21km, Como 30km.

Sportsmen will enjoy the many activities on the lakes and surroundings. Sport facilities nearby include golf, equitation, water sports, diving, fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, canoeing, amusement park, historical site, mountain biking/cycling, swimming, tennis, windsurfing, sailing, down-slope skiing, flying.
Following the road thats links Carlazzo village to the Gottro’s mountains, you will find small, local typical restaurants called 'crotto' where you can taste local regional meals served with the typical 'polenta' (Crotto da Gusto, Crotto Merlo, Crotto Mirabel). In most of the villages of Como lakeside, you will find typical fish dishes (pesce persico, lavarello).
