Archi (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 4)

The Archi (m² 45) is a large open plan studio apartment with well equipped kitchen, double bed, 2 shower rooms, and a lounge area with satellite TV; a single sofa bed and a single bed, so it can accommodate 4 people : for privacy there is a large curtain that separates the double bedroom area from the lounge area. Direct access to the patio.

Chiocciola (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 3)

The Chiocciola (m² 39) two floors flat, ground floor well equipped kitchen, single sofa bed and lounge area with satellite TV, access to patio, first floor double bedroom and shower room.

Galleria (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 3)

The Galleria is a modern studio apartment of 27 m² with a well equipped kitchenette which is furnished with a gas hob, a fan assisted electric oven, a fridge, a kettle, filter coffee maker and a toaster. There is a shower room, double bed, air conditioning and relaxing area on the galleried upper level, complete with satellite TV and an additional single bed. This apartment has beautiful views over Vinci and the surrounding countryside and has access onto the patio area for al fresco dining.

Mansarda (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 3)

The Mansarda is a modern studio apartment which is within the family home so you can see everyday Italian life going on but still have your own area of privacy. The apartment is 40 m² and includes a well equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric fan assisted oven, cooker hood, toaster, kettle and filter coffee maker. The kitchen also provides direct access onto the balcony, perfect for al fresco dining and with views over Vinci, the property the olive trees and is complete with a table, chairs and parasol to allow you to enjoy breakfast or dinner. Within the apartment is a lounge/bedroom are complete with a table and chairs, a double bed, a single chair bed and satellite TV.

Notes on accommodation
Two of the apartments, the Mansarda and the Galleria, are fitted with air conditioning, whereas as the Archi and the Chiocciola remain cool in the hot weather so air conditioning is not fitted.
During the colder months, 8 hours of heating is supplied via gas central heating to radiators with an option for longer periods for a charge.
All of our apartments are suitable for children and guests under the age of three stay free. We will be happy to supply a cot and a high chair if required.

Outside
Externally, there is our private 5 metre by 12 metre swimming pool, (available in season), which is surrounded by sun beds, deck chairs and parasols and with a Jacuzzi just two steps away in which to relax and enjoy the stunning views over Vinci village.
Above the pool is a shaded terrace with a table and chairs to al fresco dining.
For our younger guests there is a sand pit, a swing, a small playhouse and table football for children of ALL ages.
There is a stone built barbecue on which to enjoy the traditional Florentine steaks.

Coast/Beach
Best beaches are at Viareggio or South of Livorno, which are approximately 75-80 km for us.

Special interest holidays
Culinary courses are held between October and March. We provide you with breakfast and an evening meal which we prepare ourselves and which you are welcome to join in with to see how real every day Tuscan food is prepared. The ingredients used you should be able to find easily at your own local supermarket allowing you duplicate the recipes at home.

Travel
A car is essential to enable you to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
Our nearest airports are Pisa and Firenze, (Florence), both of whích are within 45 minutes drive of us. For information on car hire please visit our website for links to all the car hire companies operating from these airports. Cities like Florence, Pisa and Siena are easy to reach by train from Empoli station, which is approximately 12 km from Vinci.

Lamporecchio 5km, Empoli 12km, Florence 45km, Pisa 55km, Lucca 50km, Siena 75km, Pistioa 25km, Certaldo 30km, Montecatini 30km, San Miniato 25km and San Gimignano is 50km.

Further details
The main shops and restaurants and gelataria are located in Vinci. Closest supermarket is the Coop at Lamporecchio (5km).
There is a wealth of information about the area, the best restaurants, ice cream, pizza etc. in the guide we provide you with on your arrival.

Booking notes
The booking is considered valid once we have confirmed receipt of your deposit which is one third of the total rental amount.
Payment can be made via bank transfer (EU clients) or Paypal, (for all other countries).
We do not accept credit cards. The balance is due in Euros cash on arrival.
