Conca dei Marini is situated on the Amalfi coast. This Moorish villa perched above the gulf of Salerno with terraced gardens on 3 levels surrounded by bouganvillea. The villa is on 2 levels, the living room, the kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom are at the upper floor which opens on to a terraced eating area with table and chairs for 8 to 10 people, on the lower floor are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The floor of the villa is covered with picturesque ceramic tiles from Vietri, typical of this area, and the interior of the villa is white with dome-shaped ceilings.

Changeover day
Saturday is the changeover day, eventual different requests will be evaluated.
Check in from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Check out at 10.00 am.
Late arrival extra charge 25 euros, after 10.00 pm, 50 euros.

The particular location of the house makes the atmosphere breezy cool and enjoyable, no problems with mosquitoes or bugs whatsoever. The villa is on 2 floors.

Coast/Beach
Rocky and pebble beaches are only 1km away, access by a steep descent, advisable only for the mobile and fit. By car 5km away - 10 minute drive). Some of the nicest spots are reachable only by boat which can be rented locally.
Bus service to the beach is available at Conca dei Marini.
Travel
Capodichino, Napoli's international airport, is 58km away (1 hour 15 minutes drive), car hire is recommended.
Distances
Amalfi is 5 kms, Positano is 16 kms, Ravello is 11 kms, Sorrento is 28 kms, Pompei and Ercolano are 32 kms, Paestum is 75 kms, Capri is easily reachable from Amalfi by ferry.

In Conca dei Marini you can find few shops as a small supermarket, a butcher, a few bars, a post office and a chemist.
In Amalfi you can find every kind of shop: cafes, restaurants, pizzerie, banks and tourist office.

Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance should be paid 1 month before arrival.
Cancellation refunds:
up to 8 weeks: no cancellation charge.
4-8 weeks: 50% of rate refunded.
2-4 weeks: 25% of rate refunded.
Less than 2 weeks: no refund.
A fully refundable security deposit of 500 euros is to be paid on arrival and this will be reimbursed at check out.
Guest comments
The location of this villa stands on a spectacular site, the views are beautiful it is very peaceful and private. The small village has a wonderful local butchers shop and a small supermarket both of which are within walking distance (15 minutes walk). The villa is in a really good position for visiting
both Amalfi and Positano.There are quite a few steps to gain access to the villa but these are not particularly steep and our elderly father managed them quite well. There are several restaurants in the village, however we found that the restaurant which is sited right next to the local supermarket produced superb fish and pasta dishes at a very reasonable price, and the staff there were very family orientated and friendly. I would highly recommend this villa it ticks all the boxes with regard to location etc. It would suit you if you wanted relaxation/and or to travel see the sights etc. We had a brilliant holiday here.
