The apartment is one third of a restored Tuscan stone farmhouse set in a quiet valley mid way between Florence and Pisa, and close to the historic city of Lucca. There is private parking and the nearest village, about 4 minutes away by car, has 3 restaurants, a Post office and a bakery. The bustling market town of Pescia is about 10 minutes drive away, with its numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Both Pisa and Florence airports are under an hour away. This apartment has 1 bedroom. The prices shown are for 2 person occupation. It is possible to sleep 4 in the apartment by using the sofabed. There is an additional charge of €50 euros per week or part week for the use of the sofa bed.
Changeover day
Please note changeover day is normally Saturday, please email us if you would like to begin your holiday with us on a different day. Check in between 4.00pm and 7.00pm, Check out is by 10.00am.

Notes on accommodation
Full central heating is available for out of main season times, and is metered and charged at cost. Free broadband wireless internet access is now available in apartment.
Accessibility
The property is set on a terraced hillside in a quiet valley. There is a sweeping gravel path from the car park to the Farmhouse which due to the gradient would be unsuitable for people in wheelchairs.
Outside
The apartment is on the ground floor of the farmhouse and has a private garden and terrace along the entire front of the house. There is a BBQ and access to the 8m x 4m pool, which is shared with the other apartments. Guests are welcome to walk around all the 8 acres of olive terraces and woods.
Coast/Beach
It is only about 55 minutes to the miles of sandy beaches at Viareggio.
Travel
Pisa airport is only 50 minutes away, and is served by most of the budget airlines from the UK.

It was a reluctant departure from your lovely apartment! We loved the fantastic views and peaceful location and were very impressed with the superb renovation. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had some very thoughtful touches which really put it head and shoulders above others we've stayed in.
Das Appartment war sehr gepflegt und ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch in der Küche war Alles da, wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Terrasse mit dem tollen Blick in die Ferne und auf den schön angelegten Garten war der Lieblingsplatz. Abends hört man nur die Grillen und Bachrauschen. Tagsüber bietet der Pool willkommene Abkühlung, natürlich auch mit Blick in die Berge.
Da wurden auf der Website keine falschen Erwartungen geweckt, die Realität ist sogar noch schöner. Podere Fiorito ist ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen, unbedingt erforderlich ist ein Auto, unten im Tal in Pescia gibt es wirlich alles, was man braucht.

About the owner
When we first saw these abandoned stone farmhouses nestled into a quiet valley below a Medieval village in Tuscany we knew it was the place for us. We sold our house and moved to Italy to spend the next couple of years renovating the houses and grounds into a beautiful place for us to live and for guests to visit on holiday.
We are now proud to offer guests an opportunity to stay in this special and tranquil place.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
This property ticked all the boxes for us. Two farmhouses provide perfect accommodation for ourselves and our guests, the valley is very peaceful and yet we are only 2 minutes by car from the nearest village and restaurants.
Also importantly our farmhouses are located close to all the major tourist destinations such as Florence , Pisa, Lucca and within and hour of both Pisa and Florence airports.

The property offer a tranquil escape from the busy world. Set in 8 acres of Olive terraces and woodland and surrounded by medieval villages it is a beautiful place to relax with easy access to the major sites.
