House in Besozzola, Nr Salsomaggiore, Parma, Emilia Romagna, Italy
Rustic Stone House in a Small Hamlet
Situated in the Peaceful Village in the Hillside of the Appenines
Sleeps 8 (4 Bedrooms)

Besozzola Hamlet
Besozzola Hamlet

‘Casa Nascosta’ is located in a hillside hamlet above Salsomaggiore (famous for its natural spa) and the market towns of Fidenza, Lugagnano, Fiorenzuola. We are close to the medieval castles of Castell A'rquato, Castel Vigoleno and Fontanellato. Visit Bussetto Theatre and Museum, which is the birthplace of the famous composer Giuseppe Verdi. You can also attend the open air opera performances which are staged during the summer months. This is genuine unspoilt Italy and can be likened to Tuscany as it was 30 years ago - without the tourists. Yet due to its central location the major cities and the lakes of Northern Italy can be visited as day trips with a 2/3 hr. drive or train journey, thus avoiding expensive hotel stops overnight. Use Villa Nascosta as your hub for exploring Italy. Stretching for miles around is the natural beauty and mountainous scenery of the Province of Parma.
