The stone-walled house is fresh in Summer, warm in Winter, relaxing in Autumn and full of voices and perfumes in Spring. On the façade a fresco, dated 1730, portrays the Virgin Mary surrounded by roses and cherubs. All around a reinvigorating silence only broken in the evening, by the singing of cuckoos, owls and crickets, and the tolls of San Tommaso’s chapel bell tower. From the balcony you could see the old bent tile roofs of the nearby houses and, looking up at the chestnuts woods, an unusual impressionist picture, that changes its colours from season to season, will reveal the ruins of the Carretto’s castle and the Chapel of Santa Maria Maddalena. The ancient residence lies at the feet of a terraced hill surrounded by dry stone walls and pine woods. During the summer period the kitchen garden is full of fresh vegetables and the garden is the ideal place to rest, play, have breakfast, relax with a good book or swing on the hammock in the shade of a cherry tree.

The distance to beaches is not far, 20/30 minutes with car for arriving at Savona and other splendid sea country.
Travel
The nearest airport is Genova, distance 1 hour and the B&B is also near to the port of Savona.
