Walk out into the garden on a summer’s morning and you walk into one of the most magnificent views imaginable. Stretched out before you is the whole breadth of the magical Sibillini range of mountains, which open up to you as you walk down the garden through the lavender and under the arch of brilliant red roses. A riot of colour, sweet scented aromas and the sound of bees and the dance of a myriad of butterflies joining you for breakfast. Here in the countryside it’s peaceful and there never is any rush. And there is so much to explore, so many paths to walk along, around the lakes and through the mountains and then there is swimming in the delicious Lake Fiastra nearby, horse-riding, canoeing; all those old-fashioned things…and all within quite a small and easily accessible area. Equidistant from Amandola and Sarnano (10k from each) you have both to choose from; each having their own market days and festivals throughout the summer months. as well as banks, bars, hotels, restaurants.

Lounge with divans to lounge on a lots of books left by guests and games to play.
Use of large garden outside with sun-lounge beds and fantastic views.

 

Notes on accommodation
Full central heating for cooler months (extra tariff), the house is ideal for children as there is a safe garden to play in. Children welcome.

Outside
We have a large garden facing the mountains with wonderful walks below the house to the Sarnano valley. There is a large terrace with garden furniture for dining outside in the summer and a barbeque.

Coast/Beach
Beautiful Conero beaches (with their deep shelving coves and blue clear water and excellent fish restaurants) are one hour and a quarter away. The family beaches of Pedaso and Porto San Giorgio, with their lovely sands and beach facilties and games for children, just 40 mins drive.

Golf
Conero golf course is 70 mins away.

Skiing
Three ski resorts in Sibillini Mountains, 25 mins drive from Sambuco, mainly family ski-ing; more professional facilities further south at Gran Sasso - one and a half hours drive.

Special interest holidays
We can arrange trekking, horse -riding, quad biking, para-gliding.

Travel
Ancona airport one hour and a quarter. Pescara slightly more; both served by Ryan Air. Car hire available from both.

Distances
Amandola our local town is a 10 min drive, as is Sarnano.

Further details
Both the medieval towns of Amandola and Sarnano have restaurants, bars, banks, markets, supermarkets.
