This area of Le Marche is one of the most fascinating and unspoilt parts of Italy. It has everything a nature lover could ever hope to enjoy; wild life of every description, clean spring water and clean air too.There are treks and walks throughout the mountain gorges to the most magical locations. Our property looks out onto this most beautiful of panoramas with a backdrop of the Sibillini mountains range and the medieval town of Sarnano nestled in the valley beneath. There is no better an area for those who love tranquility and simplicity; the hilltop towns around are so busy in the summer months and there is an amazing choice of festas and concerts locally as well as in the larger towns nearby. San Servigano with its Blues festival, Macerata for opera and Camerino for its Music . Our garden studio is cosy and quite beautiful. It feeds out onto an open garden, a riot of colour and buzzy activity. A great way to start the day and to end it too as the sun dips beneath Mont Amandola

Notes on accommodation
Full central heating for cooler months (extra tariff), the house is ideal for children as there is a safe garden to play in. Children welcome.
Outside
We have a large garden facing the mountains with wonderful walks below the house to the Sarnano valley. There is a large terrace with garden furniture for dining outside in the summer and a barbeque.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful Conero beaches (with their deep shelving coves and blue clear water and excellent fish restaurants) are one hour and a quarter away. The family beaches of Pedaso and Porto San Giorgio, with their lovely sands and beach facilties and games for children, just 40 mins drive.
Golf
Conero golf course is 70 mins away.
Skiing
Three ski resorts in Sibillini Mountains, 25 mins drive from Sambuco, mainly family ski-ing; more professional facilities further south at Gran Sasso - one and a half hours drive.
Special interest holidays
Sambuco makes an ideal retreat for a group of up to a dozen people for a multitude of activities and supplemented always by magnificent views and locations to visit, walking, dining, cooking together, just being together in this gorgeous area. For visitors, we can arrange trekking, horse -riding, quad biking, para-gliding.
Travel
Ancona airport one hour and a quarter. Pescara slightly more; both served by Ryan Air. Car hire available from both.
Distances
Amandola our local town is a 10 min drive, as is Sarnano.

Both the medieval towns of Amandola and Sarnano have restaurants, bars, banks, markets, supermarkets.

About the owner
Painter and photographer and CTI trained life coach (see www.physikgarden.com). Liliana, my wife, is also a teacher in Howard Lee's 'Light of Life' programme; a physical wellbeing concept. Michael runs creativity weekends and personal creativity coaching too. Also we often let property (Sambuco) out for retreat weekends to others as the place is so big for things of a light hearted nature. It's ideal too because of the fantastic walks people can take in the mountains and gorges, let alone the wondrous trattorias around to sample. It's an easy-going atmosphere and a great place to relax in, actively or otherwise.

The sheer beauty of the area, the kindly people and the easy communication; to mountains, sea and of course to airports with Ryanair flights. Also it's tranquil, but with easy acces to towns.
